Wingate by Wyndham Spokane Airport

Quiet and close to airport. Breakfast was good and started early. Good coffee assortment.

Even though there was hot food there weren’t really any protein options (eggs, meat, etc) and most everything was carb loaded. Not great for those on a low carb type diet. Requested room on the first floor due to a parent who cannot walk very far, and was denied even though they were available. Were told they save those for children/pets. We’re put nearly as far away from the elevator as possible.

The room was in good condition and very clean. We did not have transportation to nearby restaurants (there was one in the hotel next door we could have walked to) so we were glad to see frozen entrees available for purchase in the "sundries" area of the hotel. We had a very early flight and did not expect breakfast (coffee/tea/hot chocolate are available 24/7), but all the "portable" parts of breakfast (fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk) were stocked and available well before the 6am breakfast time, so we were able to eat before our flight. The airport shuttle was on time and could accommodate our copious luggage.

The room thermostat was not very precise, and the heater was quite loud when it came on. It was also disappointing to not have more food options available within walking distance, as the food court in the Spokane airport is after security.

we got stuck at the Spokane airport due to a winter storm and heavy snow. we were able to get a room right away. The staff went above and beyond to help and accommodate us. The manager drove his personal 4x4 vehicle to pick us up, because the shuttle vans were stuck in the snow. The front desk clerk was able to work with housekeeping to get us into a room asap. The room was nice, clean and big.

Here under unfortunate circumstances, but it made the situation better

Good location. I actually walked to the property, I was waiting for a taxi when a gentleman informed me that the hotel was only about 400 yards away. And he was right. I've stayed at several Wingates over the years. They're always clean if basic. The breakfast was the best on my current trip or at least the most extensive with more choice than others

A little aircraft noise late at night and early next morning but nothing apart from that.

Quick check-in, room was clean, bed was really comfortable, and it was appreciable to have a coffee/tea machine.

An hotel so close to the airport should think about flights schedules. Paying for a room with breakfast included, and with no ability to enjoy this breakfast because our flight is so early is disappointing. There could be improvement here, service wise. Same applies for dinner. I bet many customers as we were want to enjoy as much rest as possible before an long and tiring flight, so dinner accomodations should be facilitated by the hotel. all this said : godd hotel, here are only improvement suggestions.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. There was a refrigerator and desk and coffee station.

Tv was a little confusing to get set up. We ended up on the 1st floor and could hear people walking and making noise up stairs until very late in the night. Also you hear a little plane noise being so close to the airport.

The room and breakfast was excellent

I was on “ a quick hold” for 19 minutes with horrendous music playing!! I ended up calling back to speak with someone about the shuttle because we had a flight delay.So that phone music needs to change its off putting , customer service was ok , I was surprised it just seemed that they didn’t want to be there. But we were there to have a great nights sleep and that’s what we got!! Your beds are so comfortable !!

The room was nice and spacious and very clean. It was a convenient location for as as it was near the RV resort our family stayed at.

We didn’t get our room cleaned every day and the staff didn’t seem to know the proper procedure to have it done. We got three different answers from different staff members. When I stay in a hotel, it is my expectation that it will be serviced everyday. If that is not the process, guests should be informed of that when they check in, and given the proper procedure for requesting that it be serviced. In addition, the complementary breakfast didn’t have many gluten free items. There are cold cereal options that would be easy to provide such as lucky charms, rice Chex, etc.

Close proximity to airport with shuttle service to and from.

Was initially told credit card used for incidental expenses was refused so used another card yet in just minutes the charge appeared on the first card that I was told was refused. Contacted a different check-in clerk, and she straightened it out.

The breakfast was good. The shuttle was great, to and from a restaurant and to the airport. Staff were customer service oriented and helpful. Overall stay was very nice.

More breakfast options. The waffles were very good, but some other types of hot breakfast would have been nice.
