Bella Vista Suites Lake Geneva

Really happy with the layout of the room- perfect for my husband and I and our two boys. Space to eat with a table for four, kitchenette and then there was a spacious living space so we could sit around and play games in the evening. Two bathrooms was great. Boys (22 & 19) used the fitness center and thought it was good. Plenty of towels and beds were super comfy and sheets were perfectly crisp and clean. Nice balcony and beautiful view. So close to everything and right across from the beach. Easy access to rent boats and kayaks and there were plenty of tour boat cruises across the street as well. The hotel was right off the walking path that goes around the entire lake.

The person that checked us in was a little rude. Told me no less than five times that she was trusting me to take care of this room and the property. I'm 50, I'm not some 19 year-old drunk college kid on spring break. I finally got a little ticked after the 3rd time she said something and asked her if there was a problem. She responded with "not if I can trust you to take care of the room". Seriously, what?! Other than her, the only complaint I had was that those cool LED lightbulbs everywhere are awful and can really kill the atmosphere. Lose the cool LEDS and go with incandescent or warm LEDs at least. Ick. It was like office lighting. Should be a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We loved the view and quietness of the area. The hotel was lovely inside. Our room had an older feel to it but was very clean and well taken care of, with plenty of space and amenities. The staff was pleasant while trying to reset our key cards. We had no issue with finding a parking place right near the room and the hotel was within easy walking distance of almost everything we planned to do on our trip.

We had a fair amount of trouble with the key card reader and had to have them reset. While the view was wonderful, the flag poles were right outside our balcony and the clanking of the flags in the wind (it was fairly windy during our stay) made it a bit hard to get to sleep at night.

The customer service was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were very nice and never crowded. The location was perfect, right across the street from the lakefront and walking distance to shopping.

The bathroom light has an automatic exhaust fan attached to it, the noise was deafening. The 'park' view is actually a view of the parking lot and a large dumpster area. That was very deceiving. One of the locks on our door was broken.

The room was great. It was nice having a bedroom and a common area separate from it with a door. Even when friends were talking in the other room, I couldn't hear them with the door closed and I slept very well. The fridge, sink and microwave were great extras. It was very nice to be able to get ice from the front desk. The front desk concierge and the cleaning staff were very accommodating to our every need. Parking was convenient and simple. The pool area was clean and well kept. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub since the weather wasn't the best during our stay. This may not be the most "updated" hotel, but the room was perfect for our trip. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. We really felt comfortable during our stay and would stay here again.

The air conditioner kept the bedroom nicely cool, but the cool air didn't really reach the common area that well. A fan would've been helpful. There were some "cosmetic" stains on the walls in the bathroom (looked like bleach possibly) but they didn't bother me since the bathroom was clean upon arrival.

The location and the quietness---comfortable bed. I got a good night's sleep. Decor of room was satisfactory. Hallways and entry attractive. Nice gardens.

No one would EVER answer the phone at the front desk--I had two questions that were never answered and one of them had a direct bearing on the enjoyableness of my stay. The receptionist at the desk stayed sitting in the back room I noticed---phone was set to go directly to voicemail. Seemed to resent having to get out of her chair to deal with guests. Left me with a very bad impression of their customer service. No lock on balcony door---didn't feel safe. Was not instructed on how the jacuzzi actually worked....so couldn't use it.

Beautiful room! Felt like a small apartment, and the couch was sooooo comfortable to rest on. The bed was also comfortable. Enjoyed that it had a refrigerator, microwave and a small sink, almost like a small kitchen. The staff was great and great view from our room!

The windows didn't completely darken the room. Even though we went when nobody really it's outside enjoying the winter, it was still pretty noisy. Hard to fall asleep with the flag right outside the window hitting the pole.

Absolutely love the atmosphere here when traveling just the two of us. Very quiet and relaxed environment and of course the location and the views are unmatched. Nothing like waking up in the morning and looking out over the lake early in the morning.

Price was a little high I thought considering it was during the week, however, we're paying for the atmosphere and that certainly didn't disappoint.

Location is perfect. Beautiful great room overlooking Lake Geneva. Room was clean and spacious. We were here on the off season so the we had the place pretty much to ourselves. The facility is kept in really good shape but starting to get a bit dated but still in beautiful condition. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very reasonable price considering the area. Will stay here again

Overall, we loved virtually everything about this property. The suite was excellent and larger than we expected. The lake view and balcony was incredible. Loved having a fridge and microwave. Decent bed, great shower. We loved the decor of the lobby and spaces.

Nit picky, but there was a huge hole in the wall outside of our suite in 304, definitely needs to be patched. We wished there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Check-in gentleman was great, maintence gentleman was great. Unfortunately the young woman at check-out gave off vibes of me annoying her with checking out. Didn't ask how the stay was, and didn't provide a receipt, didn't thank of us for the business. Kind of a disappointing way to end an otherwise lovely stay.

The location was wonderful! It was close to shopping, restaurants, and the path to walk by the lake. The size of the room was very spacious and comfortable. The jetted tub was very nice as well.The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Bella Vista Suites wasn't very busy the night we stayed. However, it seemed as though everyone staying were all staying in one section of the building. We woke up to people around us waking early as well as people around us staying up late, which made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom had a huge orange spot on the ceiling, as well as the bathtub had a section where it needed repair. The decorations and some of the furniture were a bit dated. These didn't affect the comfort of our stay, they were primarily cosmetic.
