Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Lake Geneva Resort, an IHG Hotel

Love this property. We’ve stayed here numerous times and this had to be the best room we’ve been in yet. Everything was clean the air conditioning work great since it was warm out. We got to enjoy the pool two days. We went over to the grand Geneva and enjoyed a snack and in front of the beautiful fire pit and the view. Looking forward to going back.

WeGot a little trouble at the pool putting up the umbrellas as you need to be fairly tall. I would’ve liked to already staged and set up when the pool opens. And apparently the hot tub is having issues with some sensor that needs to be replaced so it wasn’t warm the second day we were there.

Another great stay in Lake Geneva, but if you need to change reservations do not rely on Booking.com or the Grand Geneva Resort for assistance. Call Holiday Inn Club Vacations and hope someone answers the phone.

If you need to make a reservation change, do not simply change via Booking.com! We changed existing on-line reservation for a one-day-earlier arrival due to weather. No problem, booking.com charged for an additional night, which was fine. At check-in, Grand Geneva staff only saw the original four-day stay (changed for a one-day earlier arrival), not the additional day, although we were charged and paid via Booking.com. We were told to call Holiday Inn Vacation Club, fine, but after five attempts on 26th Dec and no answer we just found another room elsewhere. Lesson learned, when using Booking.com @ Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Lake Geneva Resort, don't use Booking.com for changes, call Holiday Inn Club Vacations (in Orlando) and hopefully someone answers.

The property is pretty nice and modern. It’s clean and well kept for the most part. The condos are big and offer lots of space and amenities that make it more of a home. Love the balconies that overlook the golf course. Nice tub and big bathroom. It’s great that they provide you with a full kitchen too.

I don’t like they they wouldn’t let me use the main lodge like the main pool by the golf course, etc. The pool by the holiday inn is nice but not nearly as nice as the main one and the view doesn’t compare. Would be nice to get full access.

I was not aware that there was a breakfast available to us. We loved our room and having the patio on the backside versus the front was nice. The peace and quiet was just what we needed.

The kitchen needs a skillet and cookie sheets. We brought food we could not cook. Extra blankets and towels would be appreciated. The dryer did not get hot enough to dry the clothes and it had a terrible squeak, which we called and informed the staff about.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The system that allowed me to text their staff was amazing and I felt in touch with them. The onsite manager Margaret was very helpful with resolving the issue I had with hard water spot on my car due to the villa lawn sprinkling system spray my car.

I check in on Sunday evening and on Monday morning I went to my car, and found it covered with water spots on the driver side. I'm not sure what happened but I had to make 2 trips (Monday and Wednesday) to the local car wash at the resorts expense, which took away time from my vacation and added stress. The other incident that happened was someone backed into my car and cause damage. The resort security team responded appropriately but still it took away from my vacation.

It was a beautiful place, clean, great customer service! I love how you can just text when you need something and they bring it right away.

It was very expensive for what is here. Unless you like to golf during the summer, it’s not the place for you. It mmmmm the cost was so much, but nothing to do for us. They have a small outdoor pool and that’s it.

I stayed in a 1 bedroom room. Take advantage of the kitchenette. Upon check-in, you saw people unpacking luggage, plus personal food and beverages. This is a cost savings. Room had private balcony. Guests can access amenities at the Grand Geneva resort. Other activities on the property grounds are available for a fee ie snow sports, waterpark, horses. Two televisions so you don't need to argue over the remote. Bed in main bedroom was comfortable. Washer and dryer found in the bathroom closet was helpful so I didn't bring back dirty clothes.

Our smoke detector was dangling from the ceiling. Kitchen was stocked with dishes, utensils, etc., but I really needed salt/pepper one morning and I couldn't find any. Late check-out was not available since another booking was assigned to our particular room. Wi-Fi connection needs to be reset if you leave the room to go do something and then come back - this is a hassle.

The room was incredible! Served my family well for the space we needed. Loved the fireplace in the suite and the massive tub! We enjoyed a short time at the water park before heading out to a wedding. The area was beautiful and the staff was incredibly friendly.

The, only 2, things I can make complaint of; first, when running the water for the tub, the water was brown. I’m not sure if that is typical of the area or if it is that something was wrong but, it made wanting to take a bath undesirable. There needed attention to the corners of the room and the ceiling above the shower. Not that anything was lying in the corners, more, just needed cleaning… same with the ceiling.

The staff was readily available to meet our needs courteously.

The advertisement explained 2 queen beds and I spent my weekend sleeping on a let out couch. That was not my idea of comfort. Also, the adjoining room was larger and more comfortable and cost the same price. Unfair pricing is on the list as well…

Easy access to all offered on property, availability of trolley to get you around on property, pool and close to downtown Lake Geneva.

Just thought it was weird that access to the u it had you walking directly into bedroom and not the living room area but that is minor and not a game changer.
