La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Oshkosh

The woman who checked me in, I believe her name was Paige (?), was super friendly and so nice to everyone I watched her interact with it was nice to see at the end of a long day.

Giant spider in the web on the outside of our window. The inside and the rooms are nicely done and clean, but I was almost put off by the exterior appearance. It could use a power washing, and when we arrived, the weeds in the landscaping were threatening to take over. However, the next morning, there was someone clearing out the weeds as we left.

The staff were very friendly and they tried hard to please you. Complimentary breakfast was hot with an extensive selection from make your own waffles, to eggs, hash browns, sausage, various bakery, cereal, yogurt, fruit juices and of course coffee. In addition to breakfast they had snacks out all day like popcorn and fruit which was very nice. I asked for a quiet room on the first floor and they were very accommodating. The hotel was super quiet and in a great location.

The bathroom was kind of dated and needed some TLC particularly the tub surround and floor. But very clean!

Hailey customer service at the front desk for check-in was excellent. Extremely friendly, very positive attitude, most of the computer was running slow recommended the restaurant across the parking lot told us how to get a discount by mentioning we are staying at the hotel. Room was very comfortable bathroom was extremely clean lobby was also very immaculate and clean. The breakfast offering was very good nice selection of both hot and cold items.

While the outside of the building may leave a bit to be desired—the interior (and the staff!) make this an exceptional review! The staff (Hannah, Paige, Chad) were all WONDERFUL and helpful as I needed questions answered and I needed to flex my plans. Do NOT walk away from this property—it is a terrific value!

Workout room was minimal—but the equipment (treadmill, elliptical and bike all worked;-)

convenient location. plenty of free parking. nice family restaurant next door. comfortable room. good breakfast.

outside looks awful. you can hear the highway noise in your room. no one told me that they do not provide daily housekeeping service. when I did ask for service, someone came the next morning to empty trash and replace towels. when I went to check out, there was a sign posted at the desk, but guests should know in advance, BEFORE booking.

Everything!!! Both my husband and I felt right at home the minute we walked through the door!! The room was well appointed, cozy and inviting. Quiet, clean and very well maintained. The staff was welcoming, polite and genuinely friendly. If we could give it an overall rating, it would be a 20!!!! We’ll be back

Breakfast didn’t have a ton of options, but it was decent food. Open late, which was helpful for us.

I asked when I checked in to pay with cash, and the staff still changed my card despite saying he wouldn’t. He seemed upset that he wasn’t at the concert we were at, and maybe that’s why he did, but I was still very unhappy with that, as I had the cash ready to pay whenever, but didn’t really have the money on my card.

They were kind enough to make suggestions when I went to the lobby with my son who was graduating from high school on my visit on different areas/and decorative items in the lobby for backdrops and poses in his senior photos I was taking. Everything was great! No complaints!

I may not have mentioned that I wanted a non-smoking room so (it may have been my fault) and this isn't a complaint, more of an observation that maybe could be addressed. It did have a slight odor of smoke and a little musty in the lobby, but nothing so strong that bothered me. The weather was great so I just opened my window during the day while I was there. I think the lobby may just be weather/age related. Nothing that would keep me from staying there or knocking off points for a great stay...

Room was clean. The breakfast attendant was very diligent in her duties of cleaning up and making sure fresh food was available.

Privacy lock on door didn't appear to be working, and lots of light pollution coming into the room from hallway between door jam.

The room was very spacious and comfortable enough. The reception clerk was fabulous! He was very attentive and helpful! The location was great, easy access to restaurants, shopping and the freeway.

The heat was turned off so the room was VERY chilly when we got in. Even when we had the room heating there was a cool draft coming in from under the heater. The bathroom is starting to show it's age with peeling paint but nothing too bad or gross.
