Pan Pacific Hanoi

Hotel is lovely, staff are helpful, friendly and super polite. We had the pool and gym pretty much to ourselves. The facilities are fantastic, biggest gym in a hotel we have ever seen, sauna was great to relax in before a long haul flight. Other room service food was fine and the rooftop bar was fantastic!

The food. Don't get the pancakes they are inedible we sent them back. Admittedly we were ordering al-la-carte after breakfast had closed but I would say these had been made at 7am and left in a warming drawer. Other room service food was fine and the rooftop bar was fantastic so not really a big deal :)

- perfect location with convenient stores, cafe and restaurants around - nice lake view, can go for a walk when weather is pleasant - very friendly and helpful staff, if you order food on Grab they can actually deliver to your room, some of the other hotels i stayed in Vietnam usually call me to go down and collect the food by myself - love the desk against the big window with nice view and sunlight

- in-room facility is a bit old really - mattress not comfortable enough compared with other newer rooms - you can not open the window, for those who need some fresh air this might be a concern

The staff were extremely helpful. I left my wallet and phone in a taxi and they did everything they could to help. Eventually my items were returned and I'll always remember the willingness to help us.

The only thing I'd say is weigh up location and chose a hotel based on this. We liked where we were as it was close to some restaurants we wanted to visit and not far from the French and old quarters too. Its cheap and easy to get around by taxi and pan pacific hotels always deliver

The customer service was great upon checking in. Seamless experience. Did not know what to expect but the room was bigger than what i expected and that is probably a plus. Balcony overlooking partial street and river which is kind of nice. With the cool weather and cold wind blow, oh make me reflect just staring down at the scenary.

The rooms really look dated with the bi-fold doors which are very squeezy and looks very confined. Living room and bedroom doors weren't able to latch and lock properly. The ceilings were kinda stained as well making it look very old. I did booked a smoking room and was told to upgrade to pacific club for one. And upon checking in the room. i see a big no smoking sign on the working desk. I did not raise this up and made a complain as my stay was just one night. But i think this could be improve by noting down guests' needs. And not forgetting i paid extra just to get a smoking room and i didn't get one.

Our room had a nice view of the lake and the bed was really comfy. Their terrace bar was perfect for sunset as we sampled their afternoon tea (the set was basic though, could improve by adding little pastries). Their staff were all polite and kind, the concierge took care of our Ha Long Bay tour and assigned us to an efficient tour operator. Won’t hesitate recommending this hotel to our family and friends whenever they’re traveling to Hanoi.

A very pleasant stay in Pan Pac 5 star luxury. Ms Tracy Tranh the Front Office Manager greeted us a very warm welcome. She also helped us with the commute around Hanoi. So with her other staff. The Pan Pac pool and gymnasium they are must do. Pleasantly surprised there is a menu of Singaporean in-room dining dishes. A little more authenticity would be perfect.

The location of the hotel is excellent. No place is too far to move. Walks nearby are also excellent. Roof terrace bar!!

In hotels of this level, you very rarely hear a negative answer from the staff. Now it happened three times in one morning. No help to charge the phone, no matches and no mustard provided at breakfast, not even on request. Strange in itself.

The comfort and service were very good. The breakfast was excellent. The pool is very big. There is a temple for sightseeing and small restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. It is not lokated in a tourist area.

The pool is just for sports - no pool bar. Electrical equipment is poor: The light at bed was wrong connected: I switched on the other side. Charging a mobile wasn‘t easy.

Our stay at the Pan Pacific Hanoi was lovely. The staff were so friendly and really went out of there way to make us feel welcomed. The breakfast was really nice and I would recommend you get this. The spa facilities, gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room & even showers were top quality. The roof top bar has the most amazing views of the skyline across from the lake in the evening.

Best lake-view in my life. Night view from the TOP(Summit) was excellent. Staff members were kind and well-trained.

Everything was fine. Only one improvement I want to recommend is water pooled with a depth of 1-2 cm after shower. Cleaner shower room is expected in the next time.
