Holiday Inn Perth City Centre, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was very convenient - near eating places and tourist sites. It was very clean and staff were very helpful. One of the rooms had a welcome pack- chocolates, nuts, sweets and wine! What a pleasant surprise!

There was only valet parking onsite at $40 per day. However, staff recommended that we park at the public carpark nearby at $21 per day on weekdays n $10 per day on weekends.

Room is comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast is a sumptuous buffet spread, the kids love it. Location is great- right smack in the shopping district. Plenty of food and transport options nearby, walking distance from Elizabeth Quay, Yangon Square, Cole supermarket..

Room is a little small.

Service was amazing and rooms was comfy,clean and very spacious.

The buffet breakfast could do with more variety rather than the usual western dishes as it can get tired after a while for travellers staying for a long period. Perhaps introduce more Asian focused dishes into the mix to cater to the Asian tourists on top of the western options Also, there were some days where the toilet rolls and tissue papers were not replenished by the room service daily and we had to call the front desk to get a replenishment. Tissue paper boxes were also limited to one set per room when requested which is not exactly a plus especially for a family of travellers. Slippers were not provided by default and needed to be requested from the front desk

The location was great on Hay Street and close to shops. It was also a short walk to Northbridge. Rooms were clean and breakfast was really good and nice. It could have more variety on different days as it was basically the same items except for one of the Asian dish. Staff were friendly and parking was really nearby but chargeable at $30 a night and closes at midnight. No swimming pool or gym at hotel by it was fine as we were out most of the time.

The staff were always friendly and welcoming. There was a problem with getting our car through valet parking one time, which made us late for an organised meeting we had away from the property. We were offered one nights free valet for the inconvenience of this, which we were grateful for, as the delay was unavoidable at the time.

Our stay coincided with the stay of a Hong Kong sporting team of young ladies/teenagers. Unfortunately they were not taught manners with personal hygiene before coming to Australia and coughed and sneezed unshielded over the breakfast buffet, so it may have been idea to have allocated them a specific time for their morning needs, and made other guests aware so they could plan their breakfast arrangements accordingly, and safely.

Location of hotel is great. Close to Elizabeth quay, city shops, train station, convention centre etc. Staff were friendly and professional. Hotel had a lovely restaurant and bar area. We didn’t eat there but had a few drinks and found the atmosphere chilled and inviting. Our room was clean and big with a lovely comfortable bed. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was really lovely. Hotel was great value for money and would definitely stay again. My husband said “best value hotel he has stayed in around perth”

Bed sheet and cover- I visited many hotels in perth. It was the best and bed is so big comparing with the other hotels. Perfect location! - it is very city center but it is not so noisy. Early check in- very convenient. I choose including Breakfast. - it wasn’t very amazing but it was appriciate and reasonable. There is a laundry room on the third floor. Also, all staffs are very kind. Thank you very much! :))

The water doesn’t drain well in the shower room.

The staff was super-friendly and explained all the benefits for families with kids such as having free kids meals when the parents eat in their restaurant which turned out to be an excellent deal. Also when we needed something the staff was always there to help us. The location is excellent and the rooms themselves were clean and functional, essentially what you would expect from this kind of hotel.

We had two rooms where the staff ensured that they were adjacent. A single larger room may have been better but was unavailable. But that's complaining on a high level.

The Holiday Inn Perth was a great place to stay. Great location and really handy to the shopping precinct and main train station. Also an easy walk to Elizabeth Quay. Buffet breakfast was really nice and great value. We had dinner there a couple of nights and the food was great. Very attentive and friendly wait staff. Would highly recommend staying here. I am sure we will be back.

Excellent location - could drag a heavy XL luggage and still walk to the underground…close to restaurants, shops, cafes etc…bed was super comfortable with firm/soft pillows properly labelled - so thoughtful. Complimentary wine, crisps etc was a lovely welcome. Clean and loved their bath/shampoo collection.

The neighbourhood view was ok but also meant that you could hear sounds of loading/unloading of goods quite loudly from the room. Not completely soundproof but good enough…
