Comfort Hotel Rouen Alba

The hotel was excellent. The room was very nicely decorated and spacious and very clean. The room service everyday was great and maintained this high standard. The staff at reception were always really helpful with any requests. It was good value for money. It is in a great central location for exploring your wonderful city. Merci

Perhaps you could have a lounge/bar area downstairs where guests may relax outside their rooms. Possible in the area around reception and the breakfast area. A lift would be nice. I had to climb lots of stairs.

Great stay at a great location, we did a last minute booking due to some issues to reach our original destination, and even this way everything went smoothless.

We had a heating issue as the heaters were on, something was wong and could not be turned down so it was pretty warm in the room however it was just the start of the heating season and with our last minute booking we totally understood- we just opened the windows and it was all fine!

I really liked the location, close to historical city centre, but not in the overcrowded part. Close to good Asian restaurants and to the Seine. Intenet connection was good, shower was clean. Totally sufficient if you just need a place to sleep and shower.

The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke, The beds were quite small and way too soft. You could hear the neighbours in the oter rooms (unfortunately there wer not many neighbours because we were outside the season).

Good location: very close to the cathedral and other places of interest, and a boulangerie-patisserie nearby to have an al fresco coffee and croissant for breakfast. Good wi-fi connection in my room on the top floor. Good shower. Comfy bed. Great value. Were I to return to Rouen, I would stay here again.

Small hotel very close to the main cathedral. The room was clean, rather small (but in general good). The bed was big. Soupe is available in the shower. There was problem with hairdryer (so, if you need it, better to take small one with you). There is a kettle with tea/coofee/sugar/cups in the room.

It’s located in a quiet yet central location within 2 minutes walk of The Cathedral. The staff are friendly, English speakers and it’s professionally run. The rooms are clean, compact & comfortable with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The buffet breakfast is served in a light airy room, offering cereals, coffee, juices, eggs, cheese, ham, breads & local pastries. A covered & underground public car park is next door. Free motorcycle bays available on Rue de la Tour du Beurre 1 street west.

It doesn’t have a lift and rooms accessible up stairs which for some may be a problem.

The hotel was very comfort. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpfully. Being tea and coffee in the room was excellent. The bed, toilet, bathroom and view was very good. The location was perfect. I stayed there for 4 night and I recommend it to everyone.

I had a problem with internet. The internet connection was too bad!!!

Great location, easy to find. Great and ample breakfast. Very clean, comfortable enough to shake off the jet lag cobwebs and sleep. Very quiet.

Finding the way into the nearby parking lot was a bit tricky (might need to nav that better.) On street parking is impossible.

Location near cathédrale.

Shower walls to be cleaned better. Problem with a sink in room 14, but you can solve it. The beds are okay, pillows smelt like it wasn't changed for a long period. Probably better to wash pillows and blankets together with it's coverings.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Great position for exploring the city. Close to metro. Friendly staff. Good continental breakfast.

Maybe a fan in room as it was very hot.
