Wattle Tree Motel

Clean and comfortable rooms.

Online picture doesn't clearly show that the building is two story, nor is there an option to request a ground floor room. 81 year old with a walking frame was sent up steep concrete stairs.

The manager was very helpful and supportive with our needs during our stay. It was located close to town, so you could walk to most places. The rooms were neat and clean. Would recommend staying here.

Close to Centre of town. Nice and clean. Smaller room upstairs, but comfortable for 1 person.

Could have had some bowls (There is Bread Plate, knive for toast) if you take cereal (Like I did)

Staff were willing to accommodate our requests. We took our dog with us and they were very happy to give us a room where there was access to a grassed area for toileting. Staff were very friendly and able to give us anything we asked for. Close to the center of town, supermarkets and restaurants and cafes.

Parking was a little cramped as all the car spaces in front of the rooms were full.

This motel had everything that others had not supplied, including a hair dryer, box of tissues, face washer and a toaster

The bed was not very comfortable and the room was hot.

Although an older style motel, the room was a good size, as was the bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shower worked well. The staff member was very friendly and helpful when there were computer issues after a blackout. It was a short walk to the Ex-Services Club, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

The online information said the rooms had satellite/cable tv but when I got to the room there was no satellite/cable tv.

Beds super comfortable good as any 4star room. and room quiet. Great shower. Management was super helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable .

No biscuits in room. No milk for coffee. It’s a small town with limited resources to buy coffee and food so milk and biscuits are essential to have available. Just more thought for the travellers is needed.

room upstairs and the remote didn’t work so resorted to Netflix on my phone

Bathroom facilities are older but clean. Room was compact but had enough space to put bags, etc. without tripping over.

Wardrobe space but no clothes hangers. The toilet cistern had a problem of constantly running water. Didn't bother us in terms of noise but concerned about water wastage (mentioned to reception on check out so that they knew it needs attention).
