So happy to have a microwave oven included with the usual kettle and toaster, convenient for ready made meals and warm drinks. Very efficient reverse cycle heating unit on the wall which kept the room warm on a cold June evening. Thankful for the steady flow of hot water for a shower, decent block out curtains over the sliding door and a good TV. The room was clean and tidy and quiet overnight. Good convenient location given that: it's near the Middle St and South St exit off the Hume Hwy (around 3km outside of Gundagai town centre); an IOR petrol station is over the road; the driveway to Hungry Jack's is diagonally opposite the motel's driveway and a second petrol station, Shell Coles Express, is next to Hungry Jack's.

Nice, clean and tidy place with really old stuff that still works. An analog microwave and a door bolt style from my grandpa's time. A hair dryer that looks more like an antique hand vaccuum. Loved all of them. Good thing was they're in perfect working condition and add to charm of the place.

Would love for better signage or some lights on the sign board to let clients know they've reached the place.

The room was clean and perfect. Some attention to bathroom plumbing would be good, things like making sure the sink and shower taps worked okay. And then having a jug that cannot be filled properly as it does not under the tap. To be fair, I have travelled internationally, and it is the same around the world. But in the end, it was nice. I had been on the road for 15 hours. It was quiet for NYE, and I got a good night's sleep.

Room was clean and had everything required for the stay, the bed was so comfortable with the added bonus of an electric blanket. Location is great, near the highway but was very quiet also close to both Hungry Jacks, McDonalds and a service station. Staff were friendly. Will stay again if the need arises.

Always good without being outstanding in any one area. Lighting must have been upgraded since my last visit and was very welcome.

Should be a bit cheaper for what you get.

This hotel is very dated however the room was very clean and spacious. After reading reviews we were surprised by the lack of noise other than the inconsiderate person staying there who started his motorbike and left it running around 6.45am. Staff were friendly, beds comfortable and we couldn’t fault anything.

Location and the amenities that they managed to pack into the room - fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, ironing equipment and they had hand, body and shaving cream lotion dispensers in the bathroom!!! Amazing! Well done!

There is nothing not to like but I’d prefer if there are no carpets.

The property exceeded our expectations. Small country town motel, inexpensive and a bit dated, but so clean & comfortable. The room had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay while travelling home.

The staff are lovely and helpful, the rooms very clean and tidy. Easy to find location that's not far from everything but still nice and quiet

The only problem I found was that the pillow was very firm so I struggled to stay comfortable all night. Very minor issue, everything else was exceptional!

Good service, comfortable beds, electric blanket, room was fine for the price.

Heater mode on air-conditioner didn't work, but this was offset by an electric blanket.
