We liked that the owners were so friendly, that the AC worked brilliantly in very hot weather, that the rooms were quite large and it was quiet. We also really liked that we could put our freezer packs into their freezer overnight so that they were properly frozen for each day.

Our preference is for a hard bed, and we found the bed a bit bouncy for us. But this doesn't mean it was bad, just that it wasn't our preference.

This was the second time staying at Bluegum, and the staff member at the front was lovely and very welcoming for the second time, he even moved my room upstairs. They provide milk for coffee and some of the rooms even have a coffee pod machine which is nice to have before leaving early in the morning. There’s also complimentary Netflix which is a big plus too. Everything was perfectly clean, and very comfortable. I’ll definitely be staying again.

The owner was super helpful, suggesting attractions and places for dinner. We chose the Pastoral Hotel, which was great as they had a complimentary bus with an energetic driver (Anthony) behind the wheel for pick up and drop off. The food there is amazing. The location is perfect, we visited the Old Dubbo Gaol and the Zoo while there. There is also a little bakery right across the street for coffee and breakfast.

We didn’t realise the pool wasn’t heated at all and was quite small.

Our hosts were very helpful. We were provided with a map of local attractions and also recommended restaurants. Loved visiting the botanical/Japanese gardens as promoted by our host. Amenities in the room were exceptional with a toaster, microwave, coffee machine and mini bar. Netflix, Stan and Foxtel were all available for use. Lounge very comfortable and good to have a dining table. Pillow menu was great and I was able to obtain a pillow best suited to me. The room was quiet and situated away from the busy road. This was a classy and very comfortable room with very helpful hosts.

Small things: The bed was too soft for my aging bones. A few years ago I would have absolutely loved this luxurious bed! the dining table was a bit wobbly but still usable. TV may have been better situated in front of lounge instead of front of bed.

Excellent location close to restaurants and shops. Everything is provided in the rooms with coffee machine, fridge, mini bar replenished daily. Comfy king size bed in refurbished rooms with a comfortable lounge to watch tv with Netflix provided as an added bonus. Can also order cooked breakfast delivered to your room.

Location was very convient to the station, the staff went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable from the general banter to doing our uniform laundry in quick time on the Sunday evening. The staff were very helpful and informative.

We have no complaints at all

Roomy, good air con, parking with some shade, comfortable bed, good size TV and usable kitchen facilities.

Note - 2 level building but without a lift. If you have mobility issues remember to ask for a ground floor room. This was not an issue for us but for other guests it may be so.

The motel was very modern, clean and well situated. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The motel is extremely well kept. Car shades over parking spots and sun shade over the pool area. The pool area also has a table and chairs to relax. The motel also has two charging stations for cars (mine is petrol), but I thought this was good. It is in a very central spot to downtown Dubbo, so within walking distance (for keen people), otherwise a 3 minute drive. I travelled with my sister visiting from London, to visit my daughter who is currently living in Dubbo. My sister has travelled the world and has stayed in various countries at various, but mostly 5 star plus facilities. She was extremely impressed with the motel, so for her to say that, it must be excellent. I would highly recommend Bluegum Dubbo Motel for either a short or long stay. I know where I'm staying next time in Dubbo.

Modern and fresh decor. Meticulously clean and mindfully equipped room. Sumptuously comfortable bed and top quality bedding. Lovely and welcoming staff. Absolutely would stay here every time we visit Dubbo. Highly recommended.

everything from the moment we arrived was great, the room was exactly as the pictures and was very clean and a very comfortable bed. Parking was near our room. I would definitely stay here again.
