Cattlemans Country Motor Inn & Serviced Apartments

We stayed in a Superior Room - modern and stylish with full kitchen, lounge room and 2 bedrooms. The beds and lounge were very comfortable and there was an air conditioner in every room. The apartment was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Although Cattleman’s is across the river from the central shopping district in Dubbo, there are several eating establishments right across the road as well as a restaurant on site. We tried Pizza Cravings, which was amazing, and had the buffet breakfast in the Cattleman’s restaurant - well stocked, delicious and lots of gluten-free options for my daughter.

Room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for our young family. Rooms were generously sized, plenty of seating for a fam of 4 and a good sized dining table. Kitchen and bathroom modern with all that you need (except for hair dryer). Indoor pool was a hit with our kids!

Floors although appeared clean needed a serious mop - 5 mins walking around left your feet/socks blackened. Shower/bathroom a little grimy. Nothing that hindered our stay. We had a great time and would recommend this place to others!

The apartments were very well appointed and clean, fresh and modern. The bedrooms were a good size and storage suitable for longer stays. The kitchen had plenty of amenities for our needs, and the shower was very good as well. Good sized parking spaces downstairs and easy to manouvere around for an apartment complex. The rooms were quiet, couldn't hear any noise from the neighbouring apartments. Having the lift was great and suited our group as we had an older couple who may have struggled using the stairs. Plenty of great meal options within walking distance, and walking tracks along the river to stretch the legs as well.

Having no natural light in the 2nd bedroom was unusual, but not a deal breaker. The beds were a little soft for our personal preference, but many people would like them, and we still had a very comfortable sleep.

The pic don't give the room justice. The apartment was huge with separate bedroom and living room plus fully equipped kitchen with enough plates, cups for everyone. There was DVD in reception you can use free of charge in your room Staff very friendly and helpful

Our balcony was out of order would of been nice to sit out and enjoy a beverage while the kids watched a movie. I didn't like there was no ice in the freeze had travelled 14 hours so was in need of a cold drink as everything was warm. Staff kindly delivered a bag of ice upon a request which was amazing

The staff were friendly and helpful. Multiple swimming pools (one indoor) were a great way to cool off! The onsite restaurant was a convenient and delicious option for dinner, the staff were friendly and provided lots of colouring pens and pages to keep our kids entertained.

There seemed to be an electrical fault in our original room that caused the a/c to cut out, thankfully there was another room available and they were quick to arrange that room for us but moving our family after we had just unpacked was not fun.

Great facilities and room size. Our room was clean, tidy and very new. The pools were great and the breakfast in the restaurant was easy, convenient and delicious.

The lounge was so sunken we were not able to use it. Also, not being able to lock the door from the inside was a big issue with small children. The screen door locked, however the latch was easily opened by my 3 year old and there was no key for this door. The room would be much more child friendly and safer if guests were able to lock the large door with a latch or something from the inside.

No bowls or cutlery but there was a jug and toaster. A bit hard to butter toast or have a bowl of cereal without them.

CHECKIN - Was smooth and fast with very friendly staff. Even booked our table for tea at the motel Restaurant. PARKING - FREE undercover under Motel and some not undercover. Take your pick. FLOORS - This complex is huge and spread out. Where we stayed it was 2 Floors accessible by stairs but there is also an elevator and just walk along the passageway to your room. ROOM - was extremely clean and comfortable with lounge chair, table and chairs, and plenty of room to move. Air-conditioning only no fan. PATIO - there was none. SHOWER - Wow exceptional. Lots of room. Glass doors to keep the water in. Plenty of hot water with excellent pressure. LOCATION - 2 minute walk to in-house restaurant. 20 minute walk to main Street, Dubbo Goal.

We stayed in the serviced apartments, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of space and how well equipped the apartment was. Reception staff were really friendly and all their email comms were great. Really liked how they replaced the bins and towels everyday.

There was netflix on the tv but it seemed that the hotel was sharing licences across multiple rooms so we were often logged out of the account. Wi-fi also struggled. Also when we first arrived in the apartment we found some used chewing gum on one of the bedside tables - not sure how that was missed because the rest of the apartment was spotless.

I liked that it was pretty central to Dubbo. Close to the zoo which is why we were there. Absolutely loved the restaurant upstairs. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the staff etiquette was definitely on point.

Only a personal dislike but the beds were simply too soft for myself and my partner. Had a sore back after the second night. Only other thing that could improve is the size of the parking spaces. Just about everyone coming through has a big rig, including us and it was a bit of a tight fit. Overall, enjoyed the stay and amazing food
