Great location as quite a few eateries within a 5 minute walk and a 7 minute drive to Dubbo Zoo! Very clean room and comfortable bed. Had a full-size fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and convection oven with hot plates on top. Supplied crockery and cutlery, as well as milk, teabags, coffee and sugar sachets. Great shower and supplied, shampoo, conditioner and soap, as well as a hairdryer. Loved the extra sink in the kitchenette for washing up and dish detergent, dishcloth and tea towel were supplied. Had a full-size mirror on the wall near the bed.

Unfortunately there was a bit of a draught coming from the windows behind the bed. The bathroom is quite narrow and the sliding door makes quite a bit of noise to open and shut (especially noticeable in the middle of the night!) it also doesn’t have a runner or something to stop it banging against the wall. These did not stop us enjoying our stay and we would stay again if we were in Dubbo, however, we may ask for a downstairs room next time, as being seniors, it would save us having to lug our gear upstairs!

Reception has a beautiful friendly face to greet you. The room had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable to save money on food costs. There is a fantastic donut, pizza and burger shop just up the road a bit (walking distance of about 200meters)if you choose not to cook. We were supplied with extra towels and housekeeping on request. The lovely cleaner even washed my dishes i forgot in the sink. The cleaner was also friendly. A genuine lovely place to stay with a kids park and bbq area across the road. Reasonably quiet area., fantastic choice for a family x

My only feedback would be to consider upgrading the mattresses. We all woke up stiff and sore because they were just too hard. Maybe matress topperes to give a softer layer that can be removed for those who like firm mattresses. You also get woken by a little dog in the area about 7am amd continues throughout the morni g. Not sure where he comes from. Other then those two things our stay was amazing.

Our host Darren was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful breeze in our room on a hot afternoon from the balcony door. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Full sized fridge.

The bathroom soap/shampoo holder fitting was missing and we found the previous guests soap on top of the shower head. The carpet was very old, worn and stained but it didn't bother us and the host let us know the new carpet has been ordered so that won't be a future concern.

The room seemed quite clean, the shower pressure was amazing, they provided the basic utensils needed such as a kettle, cutlery, plates, bowls, hair dryer, towels etc. There was access to free Wi-Fi.

They were doing work on the driveway, so you had to enter on the exit side which made it difficult if someone was coming out at the same time you were going in. You could hear the people through the walls fairly well but was ok if you had nice neighbours. Our room was above another room and our room was flooded with smell from what they were cooking and became pungent but that was only on one occasion. Overall was adequate for what we needed.

We booked this motel as simply an overnight stay on our way from Melbourne to Brisbane. However on arrival we immediately wished that we were able to stay longer. The room was lovely, the beds comfortable, the staff were very helpful & wonderful to deal with and the kids loved swimming in the pool after a long day in the car. I would have really liked more time to go for a walk to see the river across the road, but we did have a nice view of it from our balcony.

The bathroom was small but it was clean and suited our needs.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are well appointed. Shower was great, towels were fluffy, bed was okay. The location was convenient to restaurants and town centre.

The only thing that let it down for me and I would hope that it was just unlucky, was the cigarette smoke that wafted into our room in the morning from the cleaners who were smoking near the reception area. I walked out the door into the smell.

The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and room kept its warmth throughout the night. Loved the kitchen sink. I wish all motel rooms had this facility. The bathroom was just the right size (small but warm) and the shower was good. It had a stove with hot plates as well as a microwave! Parking was easy and close by.

We were happy with the room and thought it good value for money. Can't think of any improvements!

Good park nearby for our dog. The room was definitely large enough for us and our dog. The room was fitted out well with a decent kitchenette. There was enough crockery and cutlery for us to eat out takeaway dinner. The Motel was also walking distance to several takeaway food shops/restaurants.

The sliding door to the en-suite was not connected at the bottom so we were a bit concerned about it as it wobbled a bit when opening and closing it. There was also no lock on the door which allowed our dog to keep opening it from the outside. (Not a big problem though, she only did that a couple of times.) You could hear the people upstairs. They must have had children as they kept running around and you could hear thumping from above. Fortunately, it did not last too long into the night after we had gone to bed.

We felt our dog was welcomed, there is a large park next to the accommodation which is handy for dogs/kids, the night we stayed it was -6°c and we were all very toasty and warm, check in was a breeze, our car is 2.3m high and fit fine through the entrance, internet was great, everything was clean and bed was very comfortable.

The room we were in had an extremely strong constant chlorine smell, as we were right next to the pool

The location was very good, we were able to walk to the main shopping centre and also it was only a short drive to the Western Plains Zoo. The room was spacious, it had a kitchen which could have been useful if one stayed more than a day or so. We paid an extra $10 per day to have a room with a balcony. The lighting was very good at night.

A clock radio would have been appreciated. The bathroom was on the small side but it sufficed.
