Gulgong Motel

The check in & out was great & fast the milk was a decent size and came in a convenient size bottle the room layout was nice hot water was great the shower was nice & the bed was comfy the room was clean the toiletries were nice and the room smelt nice and fresh it was good value for money and was in a nice quiet location just out side of town which was very convenient

There was no disposable shower cap I had to use the bin liner on my head other people parked in our spot i included parking in my booking we had to park at the front on the other side people were very noisy at 630 onwards so it was disappointing to not get a sleep in after travelling a long way

We did not have any from owners, but we had the facilities in our room to allow us to make our own.It was walking distance to centre of town.Bed was comfortable.

There wasn’t anything , we didn’t realise it was next to a road but it didn’t make a lot of noise.Bathroom could do with an update.

This was our second visit this year. The Gulgong Motel, with its friendly and obliging staff, provides a most comfortable and restful stay. The bed and shower are up there with the best! We were kindly upgraded and our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything needed for an overnight stay. In a quiet location, the Gulgong Motel is a perfect place to stay and a 5 minute walk to explore this beautiful, historic town.

close and convenient to everything, plenty of extras such as hairdryer, ironing board etc provided so perfect if in town for a wedding etc.

obvious issue with mould in the bathroom, parking situation a little awkward due to horseshoe layout of motel. Could do with some fly screen doors.

Main road in and out of Gulgong, and within walking distance of everything.

bathroom had no soap, and the corner in the shower had all dead bugs pushed into it from cleaning. Could have easily been wiped out, reception was closed in the morning

Room was nice and clean, Comfy Bed, Quiet location. Nice short walk into town, best way as narrow streets make parking difficult.

Good room facilities, comfortable bed, good shower, room was clean and tidy. Pool was welcome on a got day, albeit still a bit cold. The walk into town is only a couple of minutes.

Nothing I didn't like enough to comment.

Lovely clean rooms and excellent value for money. Would love to come and stay again. Close to centre of town and nice and quiet. Loved our brief stay at Gulgong Motel, would definitely stay again if we're in the area again which we're hoping we will be.

The one and only issue that we had was that my mum slept in the single bed closest to the window, against the brick wall and said she was cold all night. Must not be insulation in the walls.

It was very clean - nice comfortable bed

Having to walk through an enclosed area to go around to my room. It was out of the way and there was no parking near the room. All the parking was for rooms along the front. With at least 20 rooms it was difficult to understand why rooms 6 and 7 were out of the way like that. It was also very difficult to locate the motel from the road - especially as it got darker.

Cleanliness and location excellent. Staff always pleasant. Bed comfortable, bathroom great.

Carpet was stained but not a problem to us. Parking a little awkward as we were in the middle of an L shape. However, there was plenty of room to park in other areas.
