This separate modern apartment at the rear of a private home on the outskirts of Mudgee provided a very comfortable stay for our 3 nights. It is in a quiet area and very peaceful, attractive setting. Outdoor seating, both under cover and in the open were provided looking over the pool and tennis court, and gardens. The gardens in the spacious grounds provided a most pleasant outlook. Attention to detail in the preparation of the property was very evident. Our hostess made us feel very welcome and made sure we had all that we needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay. It was a bit cool for the pool, but it was nice to look out on. Tennis equipment was available if we had desired a hit. Very convenient parking was provided behind the rear of the unit. The bed was luxurious but rather soft - I'm used to a harder sleep. It is conveniently located enroute to most of the wineries, with 2 easy routes to choose from for a short drive into the town centre.

On some channels, the TV sound was a bit scratchy at times. We were not sure if this was caused by a problem in the set or if it was a reception issue.

Run by a lovely owner who was very helpful. Effectively it is a nice granny flat on the back of a huge property. We didn't use the tennis court or pool but it was nice that they were there! Has everything you need, and was very well located, about 5 mins drive from the town centre. We would have liked to have walked into town one day if we had more time. Included breakfast was fine, and it as nice to eat outside given all the space. And again lovely owner!

Nothing really

The B&B was beautifully furnished and well set out with plenty of room. The kitchen facilities, provisions and equipment were excellent. The host was very thoughtful and turned on the air conditioning and bed heating before we arrived. A tennis court and swimming pool were available for use however as it was winter we did not use them. The location was very peaceful and easy to find.

The only comment was that as we were staying a couple of days and attending a number of events, a wardrobe for hanging long clothes would have been useful.

The room is like a self contained granny flat. It was separate from the main house so we could come and go as we pleased. It was in immaculate condition and spotlessly clean. Very quiet and relaxing but only a few minutes drive to the Town Centre. We left the blinds up when we went out so the autumn sun streamed in and kept the room warm for our return.

In our opinion there was very little to find fault with. The bed was probably a touch soft for us but may suit others just fine.

Lovely little unit. Everything was clean and lovely. In a beautiful location. The view from the front of the property out over the hills is amazing. Very close to all the vineyards.

The only complaint is the breakfast. We had the choice of muesli’s which was great, but there was only marmalade available to go with the lovely bread and butter supplied. My partner hates marmalade, so he would have preferred another choice. And if there was a coffee machine, it would’ve been 10/10

The property was clean, quiet and exactly how it looked in the photos. It was such a relaxing place to stay with privacy from the host (but access to the host if needed). Would be perfect for a couple of single traveler. I really appreciated the breakfast selection.

Nothing, it was perfect

Arrival was smooth with prompt attention from the host Anne. Helpful advice on the local area. Anne the owner was readily approachable with any questions during our stay.. Unit was impeccable in regards facilities and cleanliness. A very quiet and relaxing pool and surrounds to cap off a great getaway. Continental breakfast was provided with a full kitchen and utilities on hand.

No issues from my wife or myself. The drive into Mudgee is a couple of minutes. We was aware of the short distance into town.

Anne was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Such wonderful nights sleep. We felt very relaxed there. It also says on the Booking.com site that there is no parking on site but there is.

The only thing was there was little hanging space but as we were only there for 2 nights it wasn't an issue. I think if you have hay fever there might be an issue as there is quite a lot of honeysuckle around the accommodation. This wasn't an issue for us.

Fantastic B&B located close to the wineries and a very short drive to Mudgee. The self contained apartment had everything including thoughtful touches of lindt chocolates and fresh flowers. The pool and tennis court are an wonderful addition and the gardens are gorgeous. Anne is a wonderful host. There is nothing not to like!

There is nothing that we didn't like!

Pretty much everything. Very comfy bed, great bathroom, nice kitchen and the lounge is very comfy also. The TV is a good size and there are nice large windows which provide great light in the day time. The little balcony is also lovely with beautiful views out over the garden and pool. Anne the owner is great and very helpful, loved the fact she phoned before our arrival to touch base.

Hard to say what I didn't like however if I was to give any negative feedback it would be that there was no sponge in the kitchen to wash dishes and glasses. I would also prefer carpet at least in the section of the room where the bed is but this is nitpicking and the room overall is excellent.
