We originally booked here as pet friendly but decided not to bring dogs. Grounds would have been good to walk the dogs. Room was spacious and clean. Show was very good. Single vanity sink but good room to put 2 toiletry bags. Bulk shampoo etc in show in lieu of those wasteful little plastic containers, just the shelf they are on not suited as coming off wall. Bed and pillows too soft for our liking. Room had cooking facility with tea and coffee but no biscuits. If you don't like frogs, don't get a room near the pond. I myself like the noise. Few trades stay but they are generally quiet as work early.

The room was large, furnished nicely and very quiet. The bathroom was clean and modern. The buffet breakfast was good, with a lot of selections. There was a great view of the fountain and gazebo from our balcony door. Housekeeping came by every day, so we always came back to a clean room. Dinner at The Vine was exceptional! It blew us away how good the food was. All the staff we came across were friendly and welcoming. The grounds of the resort are lovely and Mudgee is a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive away. There's also great wine and cheese right next door. We got engaged while staying here, so the trip was very special.

The location is beautiful and close enough to the centre of town. Love that you can park right at your door to make unpacking/packing easy although they really should properly allocate the parking spots. We had a family room and it was huge! 3 single beds in a large lounge room as well as a seperate bedroom with ensuite (2 bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower). Functioning kitchenette which would be a bonus for lots of families. We stayed for my sons soccer game and the hotel is conveniently located next door to the large sporting complex. We have stayed here previously and we will always book Parklands when staying in Mudgee in the future

The bed in the main bedroom was very hard and our lounge was unfortunately full of holes and rips and had been covered up with a sheet but still noticeable on the back cushions. Check in could be a little better with more of the hotel features given such as the indoor pool opening times and where this is located (that’s such a small critique though).

Restaurant staff were fabulous. All new and very friendly and helpful

The rude woman at reception who over charged me for 2 extra breakfasts even after I told her we had not eaten there that day. Also reception should be open by at least 8am. We tried to pay money owing before we left but I assumed they would simply charge day 1 breakfast to my card. (and restaurant staff were lovely) but woman who called was not nice and over charged me. It left a bad taste in an otherwise good experience.

We are a family of 4 and we stayed in a Superior Room with breakfast included. The room was very generous in size and the fitout was very modern and clean. The queen bed was very comfortable and the children slept in a fold out sofa bed. We only stayed 1 night so that was sufficient for our purposes. The indoor pool and spa was a hit after a long day driving. We managed a swim before heading into Mudgee for dinner. Its only a short drive into town so the location is perfect. I would highly recommend the resort and would stay again.

Great sized room, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Indoor pool was excellent for the grandchildren. Breakfast was Continental or Buffet Style which was very nice. Parklands is in a great location, close to town and not very far from the wineries or other places of interest. Would definitely go there again.

It's not that I didn't like it, I just feel the Buffet Breakfast could have variety. Each morning it was scrambled eggs with the buffet maybe you could add the choice of fried or poached eggs as well as scrambled.

Quiet and secure. Didn't hear any noise from other rooms. Suite was well appointed and facilities were all we required. Parking area was roomy and easy to access. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Appreciated the kitchen in the suite.

Motel surrounds were a bit untidy. Menu at restaurant was not to our liking. Breakfast was expensive. The advertised 'gym' was just an exercise bike and 2 pieces of equipment in a dark room adjacent to the pool.....definitely not a gym.

I are many things we loved the property some being it was central to town, the grounds were extremely presentable and well maintained, the room sizes as well as the beds are extremely generous, the buffet breakfast was delicious with a variety of options available and I would recommend to everyone to stay here.

the only issue I had to complain about if I had to was when we arrived we were advised the on site restaurant had a event booking therefore the facility was unavailable for us to dine at however, I hope the event goers had an amazing time and I’m sure the food didn’t disappoint.

Indoor heated pool and spa = happy me!! Enormous room, family suite with ensuite as well as bathroom (shower in ensuite, bath in main bathroom). Beautiful view when sitting on verandah. So spacious. Easy parking. Will be back.

Lounge is quite low (difficult to get out of) and not the most comfortable, but I coped. Lights were not very bright, I don't feel like they lit the whole room. Curtains need repairing or replacing.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the room was modern and comfortable, staff were on hand for any issues and when noisy people were staying, did everything to reduce the impact on others. Walking distance from town, there was hot air balloons overhead on the Saturday morning which was lovely.

I could hear the people in the next door room due to an old adjoining door - it was loud enough that they sounded like they were in the same room. Once they’d left, it was fine.
