The hotel was a one stop. It had everything you could need for a one night sleep over. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The food excellent; the bar inviting while I waited for my dinner to be cooked. The bed and pillows very comfy. The ambience great due to the old world charm of nice thick stone walls giving a quietness in the bedroom from the downstairs activities. Great location close to the centre of town

The Paragon Staff were extremely pleasant, kind and helpful. I was able to have my room a little early, which was very helpful to me. It was located very near the Mudgee Uniting Church and Club Mudgee, which made everything so much easier. Walking distance to my destination. The Paragon was excellent. Having tea/coffee making facilities and a sink was great, and a biscuit with coffee before departing was very much appreciated. Clean room, warm comfy bed and soap/towel provided. Outstanding presentation of a classic country pub.

It is never as easy to stay, when you need to use a shared bathroom, as having an ensuite. But it was close by, clean, everything worked well and I personally don't mind using shared facilities. It was not a problem, and having a hot shower morning and night was great. Not modern but very functional. No complaints at all.

It was a very quaint pub style hotel that has undergone some recent renovations, for example, the women’s bathroom was very modern and stylish. Everything was clean. The hotel was also centrally located - only two blocks from the Main Street.

The rooms were a bit on the small side, with not much space for luggage.

The food and stuff are very good.Sink in room is wonderful handie .The bed is MORE comfortable than some more expensive Motels .

It's a silly thing, but some hooks on the door or in the room would be great. And the same for the bathroom But I am a solo traveler .You won't find better than the Paragon .

The room was spacious, well presented, warm and inviting. The shared bathroom wasn't too far from the room. It was clean, modern, lovely warm shower. A real example of a welcoming Country Pub. We also had a lovely dinner with family, great atmosphere.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Great location. Rooms are clean, have air conditioning and good bedding. The downstairs area is a happy blend between the comfort of a pub and the excitement of an upmarket restaurant, and the food is great. I stay here often and always have an enjoyable stay.

My room was spacious, quiet and clean. Also, the location was very handy to the main street without being on it.

One of the window panes was cracked and there was a small hole. Not a big deal in September but could be in warmer months with flies and mosquitoes around.

Great for a short stay. Good rooms with comfy beds (and shared bathrooms) above a decent pub. Good value for $100/night.

The hot water in the bathroom needs the bath to be run for 5 minutes before it reaches the showers. There is a sign advising to do this - what a waste!

Location great. Comfortable bed. Great character in building and beautifuly restored

Noise from occupants in other room. Walls are a bit thin. Floor boards squeak which can be heard as people moving around but to be expected in old pub with character

Our rooms faced out into the street, we were handy to the main Street, the rooms were spacious, staff professional and friendly, food was great, had reasonably priced meals. Accommodation priced well. Recommend to everyone
