breakfast was very good, although would be nice to offer a fresh juice bar in addition to the reconstituted juices. Pools were superb especially the main one with a sandy "beach style "area for relaxing Room was large and adequate Carpark was good with easy lift access Staff were super helpful and friendly

Would be appropriate to have smart TVs or at least capability of chromecast etc. I rang the hotel prior to coming and was told to bring my chromecast. But it didnt work, despite me resetting everything. Matt on the front desk apologised and said we had been given misinformation. As we had a bucket load of rain on about 5 days out of 10, it would have been handy to flick on Netflix etc Night meals were only available on one of the nights due to staff shortages. That was a shame as the one night we ate by the pool, it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. We would have utilised more of the poolside eating had they had a chef on.

Awesome location with comfortable rooms and great pool areas. Surrounds complimented it perfectly adding cafes, restaurants choices, minimart, pub and of course the beach. comfortable room with good bed and space.

The ancillary costs are all way overpriced.. I.e having to pay $15 for fresh towels. the breakfast buffet can barely handle the rush and is $40pp , it’s average quality… and.. you have to pay an extra $5 if you want a coffee. Room service menu is takeaway level food in a box for $35 (fish and chips). All the staff seemed either grumpy or overwhelmed.

Room was very comfortable and use of the dining area good. Breakfast was very ordinary for the price. Would not have breakfast there again.

Had a terrible experience with parking the car in the appropriate car park section. Signage was non existent so we drove round and around for 20 minutes trying to find a car park spot near our room. The instructions we got from the reception was totally inaccurate and when we went back to reception a second time to verify the location of where to park the car we were treated as if we were dumb. We went back a third time and spoke with the assistant manager who saved the day. Apparently the directions were not visible to anyone trying to park the car in the section relating to our room which caused us much stress. Our thanks goes to the assistant manager who apologized for the inconvenience and agreed with our complaint once she witnessed the debacle in the car park. signage.

The concierge was very friendly and helpful. I had a good walk around the place and I was only there 1 night for work but it was well worth it. The pool was great even for winter weather. The shower was piping hot and the room was very comfortable - I slept about 7 hours continuously. The layout is pretty straightforward and parking was easy and convenient.

I thought the bar was pretty overpriced even considering the locale. A 200% markup on alcohol is not unusual at a bar (they have to make money), but a 600% is a bit high. Really that was the only thing worth mentioning, obviously you can buy your own alcohol elsewhere so I would say no complaints.

The pool area was great and very family friendly. The location of the hotel is great as it’s nearby a lot of cafes and restaurants as well as the beach. Groceries and Kingscliff main beach are also a short drive away.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which was large with good facilities. We were given a room which was very far away from the main area and it was overlooking the road. We requested a room closer to the main area as we have a baby and the staff were very accommodating and arranged a new room fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the new room had black mold all over the blinds. The room felt very humid all the time. The resort itself is probably a bit too big.

Absolutely everything. The room was amazing so too was the view down the entire length of this beautiful resort. Comfy bed and bathroom facilities. Easy walk to restaurants, shops, and beach

On this occasion the restaurant was extremely disappointing the staff did not acknowledge us at all. No communication or greeting. No menus were handed out. We went to the bar to inquire about ordering our meals but help was lacking. We eventually ordered and our warm meals arrived nearly an hour later. No table service for drinks. Condiments, table water etc we had to source it ourselves and no they were not busy in fact it was a quiet and cold night dining outside. Worst experience.

The pool was excellent, especially for a toddler. Parking at the hotel was super easy and convenient. Room was spacious and well equipped

Parts of the room were a little dusty / mould on the curtains. Website currently states different room service hours to what is currently on offer; this should really be updated for guests as sometimes it’s hard to leave the room with a little one. Upon checkout, we were nearly charged $20 for one beer as we were told there was an $8 fee to bring this to our room as part of room service, the fee was waived but seemed a little ridiculous. Seemed more interested in charging our card upon checkout for the 1 beer but no front desk staff asked us how our stay was etc.

we have stayed here many times before and its always a great place to stay. Love the location and the shops etc at salt village. Will always come back in the future, the family loves it here. The resort facilities are very good

Staying in a 3 bedroom apartment, with a few family members and young child it was disappointing not to have an air dryer in the rooms to hang clothes on after washing them. Also as great as it is sitting round the pool and enjoying a drink and relaxing , it was evident they were under staffed and perhaps not very organised as we waited up to 20 - 30 minutes for drinks at times. This needs to be addressed

The location was perfect right beside the beach. The room was clean with a lovely view across the garden. We were initially in a different room and removed due to the blind being mounted incorrectly. This move was done promptly, and we were very happy with our new room. The staff, Jennie, Raina, Jake, Kym & Julie at both the reception desk, and in the breakfast room were all incredibly kind and helpful. We would love to come back and stay again.

We loved everything.

The pool complex was lovely, we booked a 1 bedroom spa apartment which had lots of space, a good kitchenette and nice balcony overlooking the gardens.

We had dinner at the Cove eatery downstairs in the resort one night and ordered the fish and chips. A huge plate of chips came with 2 tiny fillets of fish at $35!, fish was dry and overcooked - was absolutely terrible, no salad or greens, I would suggest you don't eat downstairs until they improve their meals or employ a better chef.
