This was a last minute booking and I was pleasantly surprised at how great the place was. Our 3 bedroom cabin (more like a house!) had 2 bathrooms and was huge. It was clean and even though it was not new there were lots of little decorative touches to make it more inviting. It was nice and quiet at night.

I stayed in one of the river front cabins (24A). It was fantastically clean and well appointed. I travel a lot and this is one of the best I have come across. Hosts were super helpful.

The elephant in the room (well outside) is the park is directly under the flight path to the Gold Coast Airport. When the planes fly over (especially taking off) it can be very noisy. However, the airport is not super busy and it really is only 10 seconds of noise. If you are out most of the day you will only get a few planes come over. I never heard any late at night. In the end it was not that bad and did not detract from all the other positives of which there are many.

Lovely clean, modern studio cabin with everything we needed for a weekend away. Loved the pool area.

Bed was way too soft and didn't have enough support for your body to lay flat (mattress bowed in the middle)...actually made it a little difficult to sleep comfortably.... a slightly firmer mattress would do the trick!

The reception staff member was very welcoming and courteous. The accommodation was well fitted out, maintained and clean. The facilities were great. This is an excellent location to base yourself for exploring the area in all directions. Close to coffee shops and shopping centres.

The aircraft flight path is over this area. This is not an issue unique to this one park as it will affect all parks in the area.

This was our second time staying at Colonial Tweed, it has now become a staple on our quarterly business trip to the region. Paula and her team were fantastic from the moment we arrived! They helped with everything we needed, even giving us an extra gate code when we got stuck on opposite shifts. Unfortunately the morning we were supposed to check out, we were victim to the Feb 2022 floods and could not leave, Paula was kind enough to allow us to stay 2 extra nights at the same discounted rate we had paid already which was amazing! We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment and it was fantastic! Kitchen, comfy couch and great TV! But without a doubt the thing we'll be coming back for is the best shower I've had in my life.... Heaven!

Down the street where our cabin 3A was there was a lot of IBIS and Pidgens that bring vermon. Our grand children came ti visit and there was no play equipment in the play ground

Loved the location as we were at the front of the park overlooking the water. The check in and check out process was so easy. We loved the pool.

The beds were very soft and a bit uncomfortable

staff were really nice and helpful the beds were comfortable and it was very generous sized unit nice quiet park facilities were great also

wish there was a washing machine in the unit or perhaps a dishwasher ? having teenagers I spent over $30 on washing and washed dishes every five mins . but that’s a very small problem for the nice experience

cabin was great, clean, well appointed and had everything you needed. The reception lady was lovely and made it very easy too book in. Had great facilities for a small park but again everything you needed.

The only thing that let it down was the bed. Really need a new mattress was extremely uncomfortable with a very pronounced dip in the middle.

friendly staff, peaceful setting and great facilities. plenty of things to do around the area and not far to the Gold Coast of you want to go to theme parks. Loved the cabin with river views, especially the barbecue on the verandah.

nothing
