The highlight of this motel is the exceptional view from it's gorgeous garden. Lots of space to walk about and enjoy a spectacular view. A lovely viewing spacious deck with a BBQ facility was also available. The welcome from the staff and owner was warm and sincere. The motel was fully booked and it was still very quiet. Barely heard other guests. The motel is next door to the RSL and this proved very handy for dinner and buying some takeaway drinks from their bottle shop. The beds were very comfortable with fabulous mattress toppers, heavenly pillows and high quality linen. This was my first time in Nambucca Heads and I would definitely come back to this motel to spend more time in Nambucca. A boardwalk is easy walking distance from the motel and you can walk all the way round to the surf. It's a beautiful spot.

There was nothing that I didn't like. When speaking with the owner, she indicated they had taken over the motel about 4 months previously and are making changes and updating over the next 12 months. If you were someone whose priority is 5-star modern rooms then this older motel wouldn't suit you. If you are happy with a room that is adequate and clean and opened up to a spectacular view and relaxing garden then this motel is perfect.

location is excellent . walking distance to shops, v-wall, river walk etc. our room had a lovely north east aspect with leafy outlook and river view glimpses beyond. we enjoyed having breakfast on the small Balcony quiet - no road noise despite central location great hot water and shower pressure good size rooms with plenty of space comfy bed

standard budget holiday flat décor, fit out and faculties including low wattage lights. not really set up for self catering (microwave & cooktop but no oven). It’s ok but could be so much nicer with a little more effort.

Amazing motel, we had an apartment with separate bedroom. Fully functional kitchen. The lady at the reception was super friendly and helpful, if not else I would gladly go back because of her, very positive vibe. Woolworth is across the road, couldn't be simpler really. I don't know if parking is guaranteed but we got parking place as well. Everything was simple and comfortable. Great balconry as well. Not the best view because of trees but ah well it's not a luxury apartment. I'd say it was very good value for money (at least the rate we got).

On a second thought I wish motel was closer to the beach :D if you walk it's maybe 15 minutes. Rooms and equipment are a bit old, but everything was clean so I'd just mention it as a minor thing.

Location was our main reason for choosing this motel for our 1 night stopover, and we did not have high expectations, however we were both very impressed with our room. It was a good size and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was new and well positioned. Together with the quiet ceiling fan meant we had a great sleep. The room even had crockery, cutlery and a microwave so a takeaway meal could be enjoyed if wanted. Being next door to the RSL was perfect and The Boathouse Cafe just beyond that was great for breakfast.

Nothing to dislike.

This property was a great surprise as it was a last minute booking. The views from our window gave us a magnificent view of the sunrise. There was a table outside on the grass we could sit at. Inside the room was very clean and comfortable. The towels were so soft you could wrap them around a baby. Next door was a surf club with delicious food. The strawberry sponge was very fresh and exciting and the food was good value.

Loved the friendly staff very helpful. Rang us before we left town to say we had left my son’s favourite toy behind and they left it at reception for us to pick up with a little biccie treat. Rooms are dated but exceptionally clean tidy and comfortable. Great location with some beautiful views and gardens. A small bottle of milk was provided for tea and coffee which is an awesome touch instead of those tiny long life milk pouches. And small selection of biscuits. Great room facilities with microwave kettle toaster and a sandwich press. Was great value for money. Would 100% stay there again in the future.

Last minute booking for a short over night stay travelling to Tweed for work. Needed somewhere with enough room to park my van. Right next door to RSL Club which was handy to get some dinner, beds were comfortable, great water pressure in shower, lounge was comfortable enough to watch TV, didn't use the kitchen but the cook top would come in handy if you were staying for a few nights and good size fridge with tea & coffee making facilities

We had an upstairs king room. Bed was very comfortable and the room had a lovely view over the river and a private balcony. The area was very quiet and restful. The owners were delightful and were forthcoming in offering suggestions for dinner.

Nothing really, the motel is dated but does not affect the quality of the accommodation.

The little things like lovely big fluffy towels, real milk, lovely shower gel and conditioning shampoo. Room was clean, beds very comfortable, great little kitchen with a big fridge. They might need my son the arborist to cut some trees down that take away from the beautiful view. Gardens and bar b q area lovely.

We loved the friendly welcome and the fact the unit included all essentials for a pleasant stay. The gardens and view are beautiful. Being a couple of minute’s walk to the very nice RSL and the waterfront was a bonus. We’d definitely stay there again on our trips north.

The unit really showed its age. The bathroom particularly is well overdue for a redo. Saying this, although all the appliances etc were old, all worked well and the couch and bed were comfortable. I really think once it’s done up, the place would be an excellent place to stay.
