The view at Marcel Towers was great from our apartment. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. The owners were friendly and helpful in accommodating our late arrival for check-in. It's a beautiful spot to walk out the front during the day.

The waterfront boardwalk was a bit quiet after dark. Not sure if I would walk home along there but wasn't an issue for us because we ate in or drove to dinner. Tissues and toilet paper were in very low supply when we arrived in our room and there was a sign saying once you ran out of what was supplied to buy your own. We had 2 tissues in the box and a 3/4 empty toilet roll with 1 small spare.

The view from our bedroom was amaaaazing. We even saw dolphins in the estuary!! The block is an old style which meant our apartment was extremely spacious compared to most hotels. The decor was basic and a little dated, but impeccably tidy and clean and to be honest we liked the retro vibes. Marcel Towers is in an excellent location if you want to walk along the water - and very close to the town too although it's uphill in that direction. Highly recommend and we'll likely stay here again if we come back!

we had a top (third) floor apartment with great views of the sea and river. The apartment was roomy, comfortable and very well-appointed for self-catering. It is somewhat dated in style but has modern kitchen and bedroom facilities. It was very good to have under cover car parking just outside the entrance to the apartment building. We especially liked the closeness to the water at the front and the rainforest immediately behind. It was a quiet stay during the night and a bit of traffic noise in daytime.

We found little to dislike about Marcel Towers. It does not have a lift so stair climbing is the order of the day. We knew this in advance so packed lightly for our short stay there.

The view from top floor was lovely. The unit was quite spacious and family-friendly!!! Very well laid out. The bedrooms were adequate and the bathroom had been renovated to a good standard. Plenty of storage for families taking a longer stay.

The electricity lines spoilt wider photographs. The two properties to the left had the wires removed. Shame The Towers weren't included in that arrangement. The stairs were a bit of a problem when bringing suitcases in on arrival and then out on departure. Parking was adequate, but tight.

The property is located right next to water front. It was clean and tidy.. We like the interior decorations they were tasteful. But it is the small things that adds to the joy For example the staff putting on the heater before our arrival so our apartment is warm or a small lollies and chocolates bag for the kids or given it was late staff asking that are we hungry and advising some of the eating options available at the time

I would rate Marcel Towers as a very good 3-star. Cleanliness is superb, the kitchen has everything you want for a stay, and the bed was comfortable. The two-bedroom apartment is really quite spacious. Our apartment had a superb view across the river mouth looking towards the ocean. Nambucca Heads is a beautiful location, and we would recommend it to anyone. We sat outside on the balcony in the afternoon with a glass of wine, admiring the view. The pub ("V-Wall") is only a short walk from Marcel Towers. Its food is good, but fairly expensive for pub grub.

Our apartment was on the second floor, so we had to lug a heavy suitcase up two levels. Our fault - we should have booked earlier and asked for the first floor.

It was spotless - so clean and freshly painted, comfortable and everything has been thought of to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The view was incredible and sitting on the verandah or walking along the foreshore were both brilliant. The decor is a bit dated but we didn’t mind at all as it was so fresh and the location is superb. Our lovely host told us where to go for dinner and breakfast and they provide free water sport equipment like kayaks. Loved it!

Unbelievable view from every balcony. Right across the road from a beautiful swimming, boating, fishing, snorkelling spot. An older style unit block but fastidiously maintained and cleaned. Largest, most comfortable bed ever. Large one bedroom apartment- well equipped kitchen, very comfortable lounge/dining room. Great value-what a gem. We will definitely go back there.

The homey apartment was incredibly comfortable and had everything you needed. Check in was easy and parking was a breeze. The view of the lake was lovely to watch the sun go down and at night you could hear the beach. One side you had beach view and the other side was like you were in a rainforest. I honestly wish I was there longer for then one night.

My one and only issue was the stairs however it was highlighted in previous reviews. But as long as you don’t have too much luggage it’s not a problem.

Our one bedroom apartment with a lovely balcony was very roomy and comfortable with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The location and views are excellent. While the building isn’t new everything was well maintained, most likely refurbished in recent years and very clean. The rooms were quiet with no neighbour noise through the walls or from above, even though the accommodation was fully booked. The location was excellent with beautiful views. It’s directly opposite the Nambucca River near the ocean inlet with a walkway in each direction. The owner, Penny, was very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay again.
