White Albatross has been our favorite place to stay, a half way point between Sydney and Queensland. The cabins are very good, clean very well presented. Location is great for walking, fishing or just sitting. We stayed over Christmas/New Year this time, had to change cabins half way between, the service (time between leaving one cabin and second being available) was exceptional. Our coffee didn't even get time to cool, the second cabin was cleaned, remade beautifully. We are rebooking for next Christmas/New Year.

We have nothing negative the say about our stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the White Albatross. The location was perfect. Just walking distances to fabulous beaches like Shelley beach that patrolled and face to swim. The area was so natural and beautiful. We hired kayaks at the Boat Shed near the RSL and spent the day paddling about in pure nature with not a soul in sight. We also loved our snorkeling walking distance from the accommodation. The restaurant next door to the accommodation was delicious and their desserts amazing. We highly recommend this accommodation if you are on a budget.

The location was perfect: beach front and next to a pub - so happy days!! They also allow dogs so it is perfect for my family. Very convenient and could take my little dog for a coastal walk at the V-wall.

Although the room was clean it was pretty old, considering the price we paid for. The shower had a bad leakage, no matter how hard turned off the taps didn’t stop the leak. At night we had to close the bathroom door to not hearing the water dripping. We had informed the reception at check out so hope they can fix it.

Location was very relaxing the cabin overlooking the lagoon and surrounding hills. Easy short stroll on level paved surfaces to river mouth and breakwall walkway. Cabin was tight and compact particularly the bedroom and bathroom but it had all the comforts needed including aircon and full size fridge.

Position of industrial waste bin next to our cabin, occasional rubbish smell depending on wind direction. TV was poorly positioned so was difficult to watch sitting on lounge, had to turn lounge to face TV but blocked front door access. Indoor chairs were heavy to move and hard timber were uncomfortable to sit on for long period. Outdoor high stool furniture was uncomfortable particularly for someone with back problems. Although these did not detract from an enjoyable stay.

Great location near the breakwall, tidy park with helpful and friendly office staff and the bed, pillow etc was surprisingly good. Best night sleep in 7 days of travelling.

The budget cabin was fine for an overnight stay but showing its age (broken cupboard hinges, worn floor coverings). Bathroom/shower is tiny and there are no hooks to hang towels or clothes. There is a towel rail but as it's right next to the toilet, it's not very hygienic. You need to shut the bedroom door so you can leave your clothes on the bed and get changed in the bedroom after your shower as the bathroom is very small but has everything you need. As I said, this cabin is fine for an overnight stopover but it's important to have the facts.

Location is excellent, staff are wonderful. Food at restaurant was great and it is especially nice to sit and eat with beach front view. The accomdation had everything we needed, kitchen had all the must-haves for us. Aircon worked great. Beds clean and comfy, shower worked good. Great activities on site for the whole family. Pool is fantastic and the kids loved it! Also Shelly beach is so gorgeous, a short drive away. There's just so much to do, it's relaxing and fun and I always want to stay longer! Really enjoyed our stay. Thankyou!

I hate to say anything negative as we really enjoyed our stay. I guess I could say that during both our stays there were noticeable stains on the sofas, tending to be quite a bit dirty looking, maybe could do with a professional clean. But understandable as the sofas are fabric and kids can be messy, as can adults with drinks etc. I really don't want to be a complainer though as overall the stay/ experience is highly positive and we are grateful for such a great family holiday location.

our cabin had a leaking shower that dripped the whole time and sounded so loud at night, causing loss of sleep. Very very small bathroom in cabin with no soap supplied. I dont think it was worth the money. We had previously stayed at a park for just a little more than we paid and certainly got more for our money. So disappointing as we have stayed at the park previously in another cabin and loved it.

Great location, really lovely staff. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and well equipped The pool looked great , unfortunately we didn’t get to use it as there was unseasonably rainy weather but as our cabin was nice it didn’t matter too much. There is a pub/bistro right next door which was handy and also friendly. It has great views to the ocean. This is a really lovely place.

This was just an overnight stay on our way to Queensland, but we were very happy with our cabin. It was right next to the pool (and it was very hot and humid when we arrived!) It was a short walk to an excellent eatery next door, and our evening walk along the breakwall was super enjoyable! The cabin had everything we needed, and we will probably be back for a real holiday later this year.

We have stayed here before for planned events. The first time, we booked a single cabin, which was not comfortable. Climbing over your partner to go to the tiny bathroom is not my style at my age. So this visit we upgraded to 2 bedrooms even though we didn't need it. Bed very comfortable and much nicer deck with view. A far better experience.

Upgrade desperately needed for smaller cabins. Beds old and uncomfortable. Old and very uninviting overall. Brings the whole experience down.
