A fantastic and affordable stay! Location is perfect - just a short walk to Randwick Light Rail station. The room was clean and comfortable, as were the beds. The communal kitchen and laundry was an unexpected (but pleasant) surprise! Thanks to the team at Avoca Randwick for an enjoyable stay - we’ll be back again :)

No off-street parking, which is understandable given lack of space for an on-site carpark. However, this was somewhat inconvenient as at times it could be difficult to get a park close to the hotel. Short reception hours (11:00AM - 4:00PM).

Amazing location, we came to Sydney to go to the races so it was perfect; just a short stroll to catch the tram to the racecourse! Also nice little stroll to local cafes/restaurants etc or a quick drive to coogee. Room was great, nice and clean; a little small overall (the bed takes up the whole room basically) but the bed was big and comfy (pillows were a touch soft for my liking but that's just my preference), it had everything we needed, good shower head pressure! Would happily stay again! 😊

Great location for explore the beaches,Googee coastal walk to Bonte beach. Friendly staff and warm welcome. Very close to public transports,bus stop and light Rail, many restaurants and supermakets about 10minutes walking distance. Kitchen facilities with laundry machine are provided for guest. It made me feel like home.

The outdoor chairs were very dirty by dust and spider web. We could not sit to have a cup of coffee in the morning. It look like never been cleaned.

This property and their staff were both outstanding. I was staying there as my daughter had surgery over at the POW hospital, and her stay was longer than expected. They went out of their way to find me rooms for additional nights, the cleaning staff moved my language as I was at the hospital, and the location was perfect. The rooms were extremely clean and had everything I needed.

When in the down stairs room, the noice was quite noticeable from both the room beside me as well as above. Pungent smells from people cooking in the kitchen was also distinct but fine once I got in my room and the door was closed and airconditioner was on.

The room was clean and modern. Had air conditioning, tv and wifi worked well. Location was great as it’s 5 mins walk to the hospital, a little further to tram line and maybe 10 mins walk to shops. Would recommend to others and would stay here again. Staff were lovely. Good value for money.

Only small issue was the shower pipes were noisy and was tricky to get water temp right. Minor thing.

Very thin walls you can hear a tv from another room You don’t know the housekeeping rules - the rooms are not maintained daily - there is no info about it and you are wondering where to put your garbage The reception open only between 11pm and 4pm it’s too little time

booked here for 1 night because my family member is in hosipital. the room has a big window so it is very well ventilated, which is great for inner city hotel rooms. it's quite at night so I have a good sleep. facilities are good, staffs are friendly.

their system keep sending emails want me to upload my ID and make communication directly instead of through booking.com, while the staff request my ID again at checked in. there is no point to do so.

Hotel was close to the children's hospital and we were able to get a park out side the hotel which made it a lot easier. The receptionist was very friendly. The room matched the description and looked great. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

We had to take everything up the stairs which was fine but a lift would have just made it easier for us.

The smell of bleach was so bad that we had to air the room out by opening the window and keeping the bathroom fan on and had to leave for an hour. We rushed to check in after being asked to and then found the reception empty and had to wait nearly 40 minutes to check-in. We only had 1 day in Randwick so wasted time

Couldn't complete the pre checkin. But having paid received all the information we needed to enter after hours. An easy ride into the city on the light rail. Good restaurants, a few minutes walk around the corner at St Paul's Road. Perfect reasonably priced hotel 15 minutes from the centre of Sydney
