George is a nice host, really helpful and recommended places to see. Easy self-checkin which was great. Nice and clean room w/ really comfortable bed. There was a cold refrigerator, tv with selection of channels, coffee, tea, shampoo, towels etc, everything you need. Nice shower. Good location right at Kings Cross w/ restaurants and you can walk to the Opera House and Botanical Gardens in approx 30 min.

Sometimes, the plumbing made loud noises when showering.

Absolutely loved it. Felt really homely and the owners were super personable. The room was spacious, comfortable and didn't feel like it was a commercially bland kind of establishment at all. There is even a cafe downstairs and and amazing ramen joint right next door. So glad we found this little gem to stay at and would really love to stay again some time.

The only problem was the shower head playing up, but it was really, really minor in the scheme of things.

Nice location: not far from the King Cross subway station (4 min walk); not far from the botanical gardens and opera house (on foot) Possibility to leave the luggage at the reception desk the day of departure: highly appreciated(!), our flight was scheduled at 10PM... Very good Japanese restaurant nearby! Reasonable price/quality ratio for Sydney Prepare earplugs (seagulls may be noisy early in the morning)

Super convenient location, with all the basics that you need for a short stay. Keys were available in a secure box when I arrived and getting into the building was easy and straightforward. A perfectly no-fuss, simple hotel!

The only thing that bothered me was that the window in my room faced into another building which had fluorescent lights facing outwards. The Venetian blinds in the room didn't really stop the light coming in at night unfortunately - some curtains would have done the trick!

Check in information was clear and useful. Owner George was very friendly and happy to help. Room had a heat pump for the colder night and early morning. Place felt very secure with front locked door and also our room door.

Bathroom is a little dated and shower is a little dirty and the shower curtain made the shower feel small.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was small but very clean and well presented. Bathroom clean and supplied with all items required. Carpets and painting throughout room looked very clean and new. Location perfect, just 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station making access to all parts of Sydney very easy. Interesting environment / locality for early morning or late afternoon walks. This property is highly recommended.

room was super spacious, clean, and comfortable. Excellent location near the train station and bus stops and to the main city area (but far enough to be nice and quiet at night!). All the amenities you need are provided. Smooth check in and check out, also kindly stored my luggage for a few hours after check out as i had a later flight home

I needed a place to crash for 3 or 4 days and hotel59 was available at a very afordable price. I did not come with big expectations, but the place was a lot better than I imagined considering what I paid for it. The room was Clean, Spatious and Silent with a Private Bathroom, and the Bed was Big & Comfortable. I also need to highlight the good attention I received, not only the day I arrived, but every day afterwards. The staff was very friendly, always asking me if I needed anything else, far better than what I have seen in other accomodations.

I liked most of things during my stay, but the wifi could have been better. Depending on the time of the day, my connection was very weak and things like zoom-calls became impossible.

Good value for money in a great area of sydney! Room was clean, towels were provided and staff was chill.

Accommodation was cheap and as advertised for the most part but king bed was really 2 single beds pushed together with a hard portion in the middle. Didn’t love that their was no lobby or common areas but again, you get what you paid for !
