The things that I liked the most living almost 6 months were that any doubts or problems that there were, these were managed and resolved as soon as possible. As for the pieces with the people that I shared, there was no problem. As for common spaces, the kitchen can be occupied 24/7, which was quite useful for me when arriving late or getting up early to go to work and having to prepare something.

The washing machines sometimes had problems or the showers, but again, the solution was managed in a timely manner

This hostel is a very good place to stay in Sydney, the rooftop being my favourite spot to chill and enjoy the warming sun. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Located in the vibrant district of King’s Cross and at the same time, away from the night noises, it is like a warm cocoon at a walking distance from the city. The crowd is also very friendly and the good vibes make it easy to create connexions with each other.

the staff here are so nice and will help you with anything, the common areas are great and varied. there is a good system for storing food as everyone gets their own box and you are given your own plate and cutlery etc when you arrive. the social events are really fun and well organised and the free gym is great. this is my favourite hostel in Sydney.

on the second floor there is only one toilet which is a bit inconvenient

The staff is very nice and friendly. They always help you with everything you need and they prepare different night activities (my favourite was Pasta Night!) The place always looks very clean. You will see people cleaning everywhere! It has a beautiful rooftop and a very good chill area where you can play pool, read something, watch tv or just relax! I would highly recommend it!

A very comfortable, clean and safe place. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The place is kept up well thanks to these guys. It also has a rooftop and TV room with play 5. And recreational activities almost every day of the week. Beautiful vibes and place

Great vibe. Good use of all the limited space. Good having TV room separate to social dining hall. Cool rooftop. Good location near the train station.

Only small issues. Kitchen is tiny. I’d also put some outdoor heaters on the roof.

Loved my stay at Mad Monkey Bayswater. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was great, i was able to walk to everything i wanted to see. The rooftop was a great place to meet people. Would definitely stay again.

You can see that they’re trying to have the hostel as good as possible. The rooftop is amazing and specially the people that work in the hostel.

They are fixing and painting so it was maybe a littlw annoying. But is part of having the hostel in great condition.

Good location in Kings Cross, nice and clean facilities, very kind staff always keen to help, really good vibes at the common areas (kitchen, supper room, tv room and rooftop). I will repeat every time I'm in town.

Everyone is very friendly and they have great events every day, especially perfect for travelers trying to meet new people. Supermarket just around the corner, which is perfect because you have enough space in the fridge and to cook in the kitchen.
