Great location. 400metres from Kings Cross train station and easy walk to Circular Quay and Botanic Gardens. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom facilities. Good range of hot and cold foods at breakfast buffet.

We had a late check in, so the communication in order for us to arrive late was exceptional. Great location to the Navy Base. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were really friendly. The beds were comfortable.

After our first shower, there was a horrendous sewage smell in the bathroom

Amazing breakfast, lovely staff, kudos to Regi on the desk being very helpful and smiling!

Sauteed mushrooms at breakfast were one day absolutely delicious, the other day raw inside..

Great breakfast for the price. Fruit, cereals, toast and spread selection. Decent warm food, coukd have been a little hotter, but as long as you stirred the product, it was fine. Excellent coffee, great start to the day. Location was brilliant - easy walking distance to Circular Quay through the Botanical Gardens - Cockatoos were a bonus. Alternatively, the bus 311 went from the bottom of the road through town to 'The Rocks' area - Millers Point.

It was not an issue to clear your own plates etc after breakfast, and the top cloths on the tables were refreshed daily, but I felt a little more attention could be paid to the base cloths some of which were quite stained - no idea when they were last changed. Also the napkins seemed to just get topped up, not rotated, so the lower ones were stained with ketchup etc. Refill of coffee, milks etc in the room was a little sketchy. I always passed a housekeeping cart on the way to breakfast, so I helped myself to whatever I needed just in case. Lastly, I had no issue with bed linen not being changed in the week I was there, but can imagine others guests may not be happy with that. Towels and toiletries refreshed daily.

The full hot/cold buffet breakfast was a real treat that we didnt expect. While the bathroom facilities needed a bit of updating everything was exceptionally clean and comfy. The airconditioning worked well and the balcony was also a nice surprise. Parking was extra but it was secure underground parking at a great price and we could reserve ahead of time. It was only a short walk to the train station and close to some great eateries. The street outside was a little dark and dingy as we arrived late at night but checkin was super easy with a lockbox and instructions given ahead of time. Definitely will stay there again.

The Vicinity & position were excellent! Easy access to public transport, public spaces & facilities & the beautiful waterfront. It was close to the CBD & easy distance to airport. The Reception was modern & clean & the Staff were lovely! Buffet breakfast was included every morning & had a wide selection of cereals, hot food & fresh fruit & good machine coffee. There were large, comfortable indoor and outdoor communal areas, with kitchenette facilities and coffee machine etc, which made up for the cramped twin room we had. There were many cafes, restaurants & hotels within easy walking distance.

Room was quite cramped, and fixture & fittings very dated. Carpet was well worn. Furniture on the ‘verandah’ was filthy. There was no table on the verandah or in the room. There was no cutlery or crockery except for 2 glasses, 2 coffee cups, though I was able to get some from the dining room.

A very good location for access to the city if you don't mind a walk. The included breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and had everything that you needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The overhead fan was appreciated (in addition to the air-conditioning). You need to appreciate the older feel of the hotel, as it has a distinct hospital facility feel to it.

There was no obvious place to park for check-in. One street park was available but it would have been difficult to know where to go if this hadn't been the case. The bathroom was a bit dated - the shower curtain didn't prevent water from flowing onto the tiles in front of the basin. Extra shower mats would be beneficial in this case. The area around the toilet had a faint urine smell, and the toilet needed to be flushed a number of times to clear the bowl. The carpets could have been cleaner. There was a group in one of the rooms near us who were being quite loud, quite late at night, but as we had been told that the office was not staffed after 9pm there was no-one to report it to as far as we were aware.

Breakfast was good variety with plenty on hand, walking distance to Opera House, Kings Cross and Wooloomooloo Pier eateries. Was great value for money and a quiet location. Staff Are friendly and helpful. We have already booked a second stay In October.

We really have nothing to say about dislikes as we booked tis property knowing it was not a 5-star hotel and did not have any expectation higher than what it was. If you want a comfy bed with a decent breakfast in the morning at a reasonable price for inner Sydney this is the place. If you want 5 Star luxury, then don't stay here and give them a bad rating they do a great job.

Excellent location. A little difficult to find, but moer of a GPS problem. Older facility, kind of kinky and cool. Enjoyed the small balcony and the breakfast was really good. Staff was OUTSTANDING. Helpful and courteous. Recommend!

The breakfast was included in the price and was a full breakfast which I enjoyed. I enjoyed the location, and there was a petrol station around the corner which was handy as we drove. There were some wonderful restaurants well within walking distance and other shops were not far to drive to. I enjoyed the the courtyard outside our room and also the easy access to outside the Hotel entrance and to the garage.

There was a bad smell in the stair well and out the back entrance, which I think they have tried to clean but still lingered.
