North Ryde Bewertung Our stay at North Ryde Guestbouse was lovely. We’ve received a very detailed message with clear instructions from the owner before arrival and it was super easy to access the room. We were very pleasantly surprised with the condition of our room, we found it to be SUPER clean and tidy in absolutely every corner, and no smells or anything. Also the shared bathroom and kitchen area was super clean and in great condition. This guesthouse feels very cozy and quiet which we value a lot, so we were very happy with our choice of staying here!

Someone with keys came into the room (accidentally?) before it was checkout time. We were out at 10:00am. probably a mistake, it happens!

like the fact we could park off the street. the kitchen and dining table were good as we came in late and were able to prepare dinner and eat at table instead of in our room. the lounge area was also very comfortable with tv... where i was able to wait while partner was having day surgery.

the ensuite a little small, plus the shelf (sliding door of shower was dusty) so could not put towel over. also the lack of washes was also a concern as partner could not get face wet ... so a washer would have been useful/

The double room, with small private bathroom, was exceptionally clean and good value for money.The bed was comfortable with extra pillows and a blanket available for use. The reverse air conditioner/ heating was efficient and easy to manage. There's a small fridge in the room but we used the communal fridge in the spotless share kitchen.

With 5 separate bedrooms plus a living room and kitchen available for use, the house has a backpackers feel to it. No cooking is allowed. There's a small oven and 2 microwaves for reheating plus 2 kettles for tea and coffee making. All exceptionally clean.

Comfortable beds and airconditoning in the room

I noticed that there was only one melamine bowl. Should more than one resident wish to have cereal, then there were insufficient bowls available. Also am not sure that a melamine bowl could be used in a microwave. Thankfully I noticed a booklet of instructions for the microwave in a cupboard above the microwave, because my own microwave is very primitive by comparison, it being of 1984 vintage.

Host is very approachable. Guest house well located for my venue by car or by foot. Room and amenities all very clean. Parking is available at no further charge. Just perfect!

The wi-fi is a little slow. It can be a little noisy with traffic but only slightly and only when you are used to very quiet nights.

The bedroom was excellent. The separate bathroom was mostly clean and tidy. Quiet location.

Couldn’t get my room tv to work. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was missing it’s cover and was dirty. The double power point next to the hand basin in the bathroom was not securely attached to the wall and could be dangerous.

Nice location not too far from the airport and not too far from the City center. Accessible, reliable and helpful Hostess.

Shared kitchen for everyone and communal bathroom for certain room options. Otherwise everything else was great.

It was a perfect location for my venue - 30 minutes walk and a lesser walk to the Metro station. There are many buses around. Shops are not far as well as a pub/restaurant. Very convenient home away from home.

I would have liked being able to cook but I knew I could not so the microwave was fine. Nothing I really missed.

The host is very friendly & happy to answer any questions or problems/ concerns. Very clean & comfortable with beautiful orange maple trees accompanied with large tv in guest lounge. Fan/ tv/ fridge in room with mirrored cupboard. Free coffee & bickies and Filter water with house cleaning done regularly. Very happy to stay at a beautiful hostel at a quarter of the cost of others. I would give this property a 5 star rating out of 5.

Due to government regulation you cannot cook food in the common kitchen. This is out of the hosts control & I feel you should still consider giving them your business during these times.

1) Great value for money! Cheap accomodation in Macquarie Park. Very clean and tidy, Great facilities and friendly management and staff. 2) Well presented room comes with own bar fridge and tv, inc a cool fan for summer. Common areas include big flat screen tv and comfy couches along with dining table and chairs. 3) Kitchen includes detachable mini oven and microwave to heat food. There is also free coffee/ tea and biscuits. 4) I would recommend staying here to International Macquarie University students looking for a place close to Macquarie Park. As well as interstate travellers and people looking for a cheaper option than an expensive hotel. 5) 15 mins walk to Macquarie Centre via underground tunnel when you turn left at The main rd (Epping rd). 5 stars!

1) Slight traffic noise which can be fixed by closing the window. 2) Not allowed to cook due to COVID but I could easily order yummy food from restaurants at the Macquarie Centre as well as McDonald breakfast close by. 3) Some people did not like that some lights did not work in their room and bathroom. I have spoken to the Manager and they have addressed this issue ASAP. it should be completely fixed this week. * Due to safety reasons the electrician will not fix the lights until the excess water is dry. This is understandable. The weather in NSW has been unusual and apparently non stop rain. I am from the Sunshine Coast so it sunny all the time.
