Alcyone Hotel Residences

This hotel has an excellent 24HR dining option beside the lobby, & multiple restaurants including an IGA on the same block. Everything you need is within walking distance. Having a larger car I struggle to find secure parking in cities, Alcyone has a garage that will fit any size/height of vehicle with reasonable daily rates. The kitchenette is fully equipped for your stay, laundry facilities in the room up to date & the most important feature- comfortable beds. I found the staff excellent to deal with & very accomodating. Highly recommend.

I can’t find many faults with this hotel, if anything the cleaning services could be more consistent & thorough. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel for Brisbane stays or even airport stopovers. The location is excellent.

The apartment was large compared to many of the Airbnb properties we have rented in Australia. The bathroom had two large mirrored medicine cabinets providing a place for both of our toiletries. The unit had so much storage! There were cabinets in the living room, a triple mirrored closet with shelves in the bedroom and two pantries in the kitchen. The washer and dryer both worked like a charm and they provided a hanging rack for items that you don’t want to dry completely. There are two air units allowing us to keep the bedroom at a cooler temperature than the living room The balcony overlooks the recreational space and a park across the street. It’s a 6 minute walk to the Ferry and bus stop. There’s a wonderful cafe off the lobby, Ice cream, groceries, restaurants including some great dim sum dumplings and a liquor store all within 2 minutes walk. After 3 months on the road, we were in heaven!

if you are looking to be in the cbc, this is not the place for you

Well-positioned hotel with a slick, modern appearance to common areas and very spacious, comfortable and practically laid out rooms. The check in process was a breeze, the staff very efficient and polite, a positive experience replicated upon check out. Parking was spacious and easy to access from the lifts / lobby, with plenty of secure overflow parking in the adjoining public carpark. The hotel's proximity to the river, restaurants, shops, cinema and cafes is excellent - for a short stay there's no need to go into the city. The hotel is located close to the CBD but also very easily accessed from the Pacific highway / airport.

I didn't have long enough to stay and enjoy it! 😀

Our flight to Brisbane was delayed due to bad weather. The staff responded promptly to my e-mails during the day informing them of our indeterminately late arrival. After a chaotic travel day, we arrived at the hotel at 1am. Check-in was welcoming and smooth, the apartment was spotless and extremely comfortable, the receptionist found us a bottle of wine - perfect hospitality in the situation. In the morning we were able to order a good breakfast from the restaurant downstairs. We stayed only one night but would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Brisbane. The room rate was fair - not inexpensive, but value for money.

Loved every thing about the hotel- adjacent to the river allowing leisurely ferry trips into CBD, excellent breakfast cafe ( open 24/7) right outside hotel entrance , two minute walk to grocery store , good restaurants along adjoining street - In short ,location could not be better. Room was spacious and well appointed - in room washer / dryer especially handy. Staff at the hotel were exceptional - we cannot thank them enough for all their assistance ( including storing our luggage for three days and then having our bags waiting for us in our room when we arrived back in late evening for a further stay ) - 5 star ++++++ service !Many thanks .

Not a thing we did not like .

The location was very good within 10 minutes walking to public transport ( bus or fast ferry). An IGA and restaurants close by. The bed was soft and comfortable, and having a whole apartment was an unexpected bonus. A partial view of the river was pleasant.

Unfortunately, the apartment did not get any sun at all, so not conducive to sitting on the balcony in winter. No instructions came with the coffee pod machine, which was tricky to operate.

Absolutely amazing customer service from both ladies at reception. So engaging and lovely! not only were they easy to understand they were also so accommodating. My partner and I have never stayed here before but have already told so many people about the amazing service and hotel. We will definately be back! 10/10 service and amazing rooms! The cafe downstairs has amazing food and a wide range of foods available. the neighbour has everything you need and more. Can't fault at all.

Bigger shower and balcony.

This is one of the best Hotels we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. The reception was really nice and they could not do enough for us. Might I say we we upgraded to a executive suite which was really great, as it had it's own kitchen so we were able to cook something. There is also a great restaurant located at the entrance of the building , the staff was also very good and food was great with reasonable prices. We would definitely like to say there again

There was nothing we could fault with this hotel at all!

Location was excellent, close to Brisbane River, we used the ferry to go into City to meet friends and for shopping. The beds were exactly as requested and both seniors slept soundly. The apartment was cleaned regularly, and towels etc changed. We had great experiences with surrounding Cafes, IGA, Cinema and Italian restaurant.

Lounge chairs were a bit low, hard to get in and out of (comment from seniors who have difficulties)

The accommodation was great. The apartment was spacious and comfortable as were the beds. Everything we needed was in the apartment. We were on the 16th floor so the view was great. The cafe downstairs provided a great breakfast and good coffee. Being near the river was great for a walk and easy to travel into the city. Would have liked to stay longer. Clost to the airport which worked for us.

We only stayed one night which was too short! The cost was a little expensive but the quality was good!
