The Kingsford Brisbane Airport, Ascend Hotel Collection

Stayed overnight as we had a flight early the next morning so location was about 10 min drive from the airport. Very convenient to a Woolworths and several restaurants along and close to the river walk. Staff were very pleasant, room was small but clean and updated nicely. Also very quiet even though located on a busy road ( sound proof windows, I guess).

Street signage of hotel isn’t easy to see making it difficult for cabs and Ubers to drop off or pick up. TV wasn’t working, staff gave vouchers for free drink; however, we never had a chance to use them. This could be an issue if it was for a longer stay.

Location was amazing, staff were helpful and friendly. Had a balcony which was nice for fresh air. Overall good clean place with comfortable bed and definitely worth the money as 10mins uber from city and 15mins from the airport, facing opposite the river. I would definitely stay again if coming back to Brisbane.

Pillows could have been a bit more comfortable but was satisfactory. Some bits in the toilet could have been cleaner (1 of the smaller towel had marks), but wasn't a big bother. Would have liked a hand held shower option and prefer shower that is not over a bath tub.

The room was as described. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. Comfy pillows.

During my stay of five days, while the bathroom was cleaned, the room was never swept or vacuumed Also the bed linen wasn't changed for the stay! A very limited number of entertainment channels.

Really enjoyed our overnight stay. The staff were all so lovely and friendly. The room was clean and the location was great. We walked to the hotel for dinner and walked along the river the next morning. We had a lovely breakfast downstairs in the Cafe. They gave us late check out for our flight which was greatly appreciated.Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Only thing I could think of would have been more teabags in the room but that's the only small thing.

Everything looked amazing. I was so impressed with the rooms and the hotel itself. It pesents so nicely. The soaps and shampoos smell great. The staff were amazing and friendly. The breakfast was nice. The seating area was nice in our room. The bathroom was nice and big...plenty of space.

The bed was like was sleeping on a concrete floor. I'm not a light person, and my body weight didn't even make a dent in the mattress. I had the worst nights sleep and woke up with a sore back and hubby had a headache. The cafe was a little stuffy. No air movement at all. It was raining all week and the humidity would have contributed to it. And the coffee was made beautifully but a little weak...next time I'd order a double shot.

Lovely staff and facility. Nice to have the coffee shop in the building.

The TV wasn't working in the room but the staff organised another room. Unfortunately the other room didn't have a balcony or bath like we had booked and was smaller so we ended up in the original room. The staff were really helpful and apologetic and were in the process of having the TV fixed for the future.

Our overseas flights were cancelled as we were due to leave for the airport from our already booked out accommodation - so needed somewhere convenient for facilities within walking distance as we tried to rearrange our trip - staff managed to fit us into an available room early which was appreciated - close to eateries - bed was huge and comfy

The staff were incredibly friendly and made checking in really easy. The room was modern and had lots of good features, like the shower was beautiful, enough suitcase storage, kitchenette facilities tucked away nicely. The free water was a very nice touch.

The rooms weren't very soundproof, and being an airport hotel there will always be people coming and going at all hours of the day. I was also disappointed that I had to leave too early the next day and didn't get a chance to get to the cafe and have breakfast the next day.

This hotel offers a very pleasant stay with friendly efficient staff and a clean, edgy, modern room. Its in a great location with bus transport nearby which takes you from Hamilton through Fortitude Valley, the City and over to Southbank. The small bistro onsite offers a small selection of tasty, light meals throughout the day, along with a bar. Its a place with customers at heart, and great staff.

A full-length mirror has been installed in my room but my friend said she didnt have this facility.

Good location, waking distance to movie theatre and restaurants and our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Great air conditioning as it was 35 degrees.. The balcony was great. The staff were friendly, breakfast was great and we had a lovely stay

The shower and bathroom was spacious but the shower head was unpleasant as it dropped from the ceiling and was too hard on the body and the water just bounced off
