Airport Motel Brisbane

The motel staff were extremely polite and customer focused. I got my key, some cold milk and into my room without hassle. The bathroom was newly refurbished and the room was nice and clean with a good supply of tea and coffee making facilities.

The rooms aren't well sound proofed, hearing luggage and conversations in the hall was common. If possible grab a room away from the main road. I got a number of confirmation email bookings about 'your room is accessible via the stairs, if you want a room with elevator access upgrade now for an additional $10.' All rooms are accessible by the elevator, unless there were bunch of rooms I didn't see.

It was tidy and the check in was easy and quick and friendly

The room seems a work in progress, the paint needs a refresh especially in the bathroom around the door. The tiling is not finished yet, around the sink outlet. Its obviously an old Hotel refurbished and mostly done well, but not finished off. I do hope they get around to it as it seems it could be very good otherwise. The shower water overflows into the bathroom.

Cleaners were so polite, helpful and generous with what we needed. Lots of clean towels when needed. We felt looked after. Beds and room were clean. Nice feel in the room. Everything we needed in the kitchenette (electric frypan, toaster, jug etc) and bathroom too (hairdryer). Walk to shops and playground. Free parking. Value for money.

Roll away bed for 5th person was very hard. TV was pretty useless. Car park quite tight with a big vehicle but at least there was parking.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. My check-in receptionist also volunteered information about local restaurants and places of interest. The hotel is handy to the airport and the receptionist was happy to book my taxi. I was able to leave my bags at reception until required later in the day.

I would have liked to have had a microwave in the room, but it wasn't an issue.

Excellent beds - so comfortable! Tiled ensuite was great. Staff were phenomenal Fantastic location, short walk to top notch playground and cafes. Loved that we could buy snacks at reception Airport transport was very convenient Free luggage storage pre check in time. Air conditioner worked a treat.

A bit outdated, Could do with a little maintenance.

This motel, like many others around the country, is suffering because of the pandemic. They are stretching themselves to maintain their business to the best standard possible. We stayed with them before and after our holiday and on both occasions, staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and to enjoy our stay. The motel is older but is in a great position for the airport and Portside, and the beds are really comfortable. We had a light breakfast but it was more than adequate. Grateful thanks for upgrading our room and extending our check out time for a late flight. It was much appreciated, as was the shuttle service to the airport.

It would be helpful to have a few kitchen items to wash up used crockery and cutlery

Great airport shuttle. Spacious large room , great bathroom facility with lovely hot shower. Fridge jug toaster Great walking location to shops with dining and the water views, With a IGA store! Had a lovely afternoon walk along the waterfront before grabbing some food heading back to hotel. Easy 15 walk back to hotel. You can’t get lost.

My only complaint was the kettle was up to high for me to reach on my own to make a cuppa, so I didn’t bother.

This is a well priced hotel run by good management in an excellent part of Brisbane. I had a trailer in tow but this was no problem, I was allowed sort it out the best way I could under cover. This place has access to Brisbane's best cycling tracks along the river that run all the way down under the Storey Bridge to South Bank via QUT Gardens and the Goodwill Bridge. I'll definitely stay here agin.

Everything was great, comfortable and enjoyable. Perfect location for an early flight from Brisbane

The only downside was that the lift didn't go all the way up to the floor where our room was, so we were supposed to lug our suitcases up the stairs. However we were lucky and they changed our room to the ground floor. Top marks for that!!!!

Very comfortable beds, located close to the airport. Family Room was spacious. Helpful staff. Close walk to a park for the kids to run around.

Pool advertised in room, however not operating so the children were disappointed as not much else to do. Motel was a little run down, renovations were in progress however carpet needs attention.
