We have stayed in the ‘Pavilion’ before and this time in the ‘Governor’. Both are excellently presented and very well priced if you can grab a mid week deal. Damian on reception was really helpful with a slightly earlier check in. Much appreciated. The one bedroom apartment was spacious with a well appointed kitchen. A balcony was great and there was also a laundry.
Having been informed we needed to only park in a particular numbered parking space allocated to us only, we went out for the day & came back to find someone had taken our space. We had to park in another space but put an apology in a note on our windscreen. Nothing against the apartment, just the guest.

The room was on the top floor so it was really quiet which made me very happy. The accommodation was at the Governor not the Pavillion which I did not realise though.
I thought parking was included but when i went to check in I found that it was an extra $15 per day. The parking was actually at the Pavillion and not the Governor so we had to walk between buildings but that was not a problem. It would have been if my 84 year old mum had decided to come on the trip with us. If you are going to book without cancellation be aware that you will be charged an international conversion fee on your credit card which adds to the price. If you pay direct at hotel you wont pay that.

nice, clean and tidy, good location
dishwasher not working, wifi not working for 1 day. As a customer I should not be asked to ring up and deal with YOUR internet service provider. If the internet is having issues I expect YOU to deal with it and sort it out. That should not be your customers problem. Also your staff are not allowed to call international phone numbers. In today’s connected world that should not be restricted. As a travelling customer I am not expected to have an Australian phone. I turn on international roaming, and if there are issues at your property, and you need to communicate with the customer then you should be able to call my international mobile number.

Great size room with lounge and kitchen if you want to be self sufficient, the location is close to all and walkable to King street for food and beer.
After hours check in where no one can help with issues - example I got key to one building and carpark in a different building and the remote for carpark didn't work and afterhours say cant do anything need to park in street, and another night someone parked in my allocated space and same result do nothing just park in street.

This tidy fully furnished apartment was a 5 minute walk to the showgrounds and only a 10 minute Uber to South Bank making it great for commuting to and from local events, restaurants and sights to see around Brisbane. Together with its own kitchenette and separate bedroom, the apartment also (unexpectantly) had an individual washer and dryer machine in a small laundry. When staying for more than 3 days having a washer and dryer is a must!
Parking around the apartment (and Brisbane city) is pretty sparse and not cheap. The hotel staff, however, were very accommodating by offering a secure parking spot (that wasn't initially booked) for $15/day. From there you can Uber or take public transport most places without having to pay some of the expensive city parking fees that can reach up to $25/day.

99% of the place was amazing
Only things that I didn't like was the washing machine had a catcher that very clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long while so I cleaned it as best as I could to feel like it wasn't unsanitary to wash my clothes. The only other thing was that the oven dishes were all dirty and caked on. I cleaned one the best I could but definitely needing oven cleaner or a steel wool vs a sponge I had.

Good location for my purpose which was to attend Women's World Cup 2023 games in Brisbane. Located near the train station and so the travel to and from the airport and to and from the games was easy.
Very limited options on cable for TV. Near a pet day care so lots of barking during the day at times. And, the internet was slower than expected though not unusable, just slow.

Did not have breakfast. Location was not too bad but this did not worry us as we had a hire car.
Unfortunately, despite strick rules regarding having rowdy parties in rooms, our next door neighbours partied from 3pm right through to very late at night. Exceedingly noisy, we rang 3 times to report, the hotel did send someone up to try and stop the noise but the youngsters promised they would keep quiet and just continued once she departed. Have to say thank you to the lady who did her best but youngsters these days just take no notice.

Close to City and Bowen Hills Railway station, train will take you directly to Central, South Bank and many other places. Uber also easily available and inexpensive when coming from city. Two bedroom and two bathroom apartment with city views. Washing machine and dryer are available in the apartment.
Air conditioner didn’t work first two days, but there was fan and they fixed it when we informed. Also only very minimum small pots available for cooking.
