Friendly and helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. The location was good for us near the shops, pubs walking distance to South Bank. The hairdryer and hair straightener was a nice surprise

Have better local knowledge, like the free Kittycats on the river, about the 2 markets on Sunday and how to get to the restaurants by the river. The young girl we asked didn’t know much about the area but was friendly enough. Would have liked to have shower gel, the soap was too small to wash with.

central to the city. room was nice!

the rooms are so close to each other. I could literally hear the conversations going on next door. also, the parking was kind of annoying

I was in Brisbane just for one night to see Hamilton at QPAC. The hotel was perfect for my needs - an easy walk down Ann St from Central station (after taking the AirTrain in from the airport) and an easy walk to QPAC across the river. The room was clean, new, well appointed and attractive, with a great shower, large comfortable bed and good storage space. It had the biggest television I have ever seen in a hotel room (though I didn't have time to watch it). The small fridge allowed me to store some breakfast items. I was able to store my luggage in a secure area at reception until my afternoon flight home.

My room was right next to the lifts, so could hear a bit of noise from the lifts moving up and down during the night, but it was nothing that earplugs couldn't block out.

Location is wonderful: 5’ away from Townhall square, different bus stops nearby (like the one of the bus that takes you to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in almost 30’), restaurantes, bars, supermarkets… 10’ walk on foot crossing the river to get to Soutbank (Brisbane letters, Brisbane Museum, restaurants, Urban Beach…). Hotel partners with the restaurant just aside for the breakfast that are quite fair. They give you some vouchers to use in there. Parking is in the same building (underground), is accesible using the same lift and price is quite reasonable (28$ per day). Not many slots (around 8) though.

Lifts eventually smells bad as they might use them to transport hotel’s rubish that is storaged in the parking (it stinks, too).

The location is very good - close to the city centre and easy to catch transport (Roma Street bus and trains). Staff members are friendly. The wifi connection allocated to my room has a bad pin code so it was unable to be connected. Staff arranged back-up connection information for me. I was not using car park or breakfast so these factors were not in my review.

The hotel has a policy for room service daily except on weekends and public holidays. I checked in on Staruday and checked out on Monday so I personally was unable to request for room service. It is still comfort and clean but may be taken into mind when planning.

The girl at reception and the waitress in the restaurant were very very kind. I lost my mother in Brisbane and it was the first time I’d been back. I felt really alone but those two women were so comforting I felt much better. The receptionist made sure I had a quiet room. It was very clean and I felt comfortable and had an excellent nights sleep. No noise. No problems. Also enjoyed my evening meal and the kind waitress who’d noticed how distressed I looked and came over for a brief comfortingly chat. It’s those small human touches which mean everything. The thoughtfulness of others which make us human no matter how humble or elegant the surroundings. I loved my mother more than anyone on earth. She was always there for me so I felt like a lost child going back. Had looked for two weeks for accommodation but I think she guided me to the right place. A place with a heart.

The room and bathroom are clean, lighting and mirrors are great. The bedding feels clean, fresh and comfy. The aircon is quickly cooling the room. Location is superb, in the middle of cbd and close to a lot of restaurants, shops and place of interest.

The room is in a smaller side. The emergency system and situation is annoying, when it was ringing so loudly right before we fall asleep, we calmly came down in pyjamas and let the firefighters sorted the issue and just follow orders. However when it was ringing again the next morning, I couldn’t help but exclaim some words!

Great location, around 7 minute walk to the Central Train Station, Friendly staff Very Clean Room Good WiFi Quiet - though in a busy part of town traffic noise did not cause any issue Good choice of things for the 'Mini Bar' (though I didn't use anything, nice that they were there)

Seemed to be homeless people hanging around nearby at night, but non threatening. Periodically someone sounded like they were banging or pushing on the glass door (It was pretty loud) to try and access the corridor where my room was- unsure what this was as I didn't want to try and find out the cause. It seemed to stop late into the night.

2 things top the list of good things about this accommodation- Firstly is excellent reception staff - very welcoming and friendly. Secondly was the extremely comfortable bed! I have some lower back issues that do let me know when beds are not up to scratch … in this case I jumped out of bed like a 16yr old in the morning, after a very restful night - thank you. Location was perfect - very convenient to workplace.

Disappointed to hear restaurant was closed for renovations - possibly could benefit from having a list of alternative nearby options available to provide to customers. I know Brisbane well so knew where to find somewhere likely to be open on a Monday night - others may not.

We were given a top floor room which had been newly renovated so it was in mint condition. Small but perfect for a night in the city. With breakfast and car park, it is great value for money. As their restaurant is being upgraded, we were given breakfast vouchers for a café across the road. Ample choice of options. Walking distance to city centre. Staff were so friendly and apologetic about the construction noise (which ended while we were out for dinner)

Not much they can do about this but the car park was tight and steep. Next time I’d go for the Tank St car park which was an option if there were no parks on site.
