It’s about a 10 minute walk to Roma station, which is fine except it is nearly all the way up hill to get to the hotel so dragging bags is not pleasant. We did not find out until we arrived at the hotel that there is a free bus (Spring Hill Loop) that picks up at various places throughout the neighborhood and drops/picks up right outside the hotel. Super easy to use and get downtown to eat, or whatever. The hotel staff are nice and friendly. The hotel is quiet and the pool is nice.

The restaurant is not that great. Breakfast is mediocre at best for the price that is charged but there’s nothing located nearby so it may be your only option if you’re in a hurry. There are not many options for lunch/dinner and the options available are not necessarily kid friendly. The gym is ok though it seemed several machines were inoperable while we visited.

Great location, facilities and the price too

Reception - After the booking I gave very clear instructions that my partner will arrive before me and gave them her details as requested. But they couldn’t find my instructions so my partner had to wait unnecessarily and the duty manager was not helpful at all. Luckily there was a girl call Nora (she was amazing) and she managed to find my instructions and sorted everything for my partner. This is not the first time my partner checked in before me but never ever had a problem like this at any accommodation before. Thanks to Nora everything went well from there and the rest of the stay was great!

All food was amazing. The room was very comfortable. The majority of the staff were amazing. I felt like I was important to the staff. The bed was comfortable and had enough pillows to ensure that we were comfortable

There was one issue that occurred with one of the cleaners. We went down to the front counter and discussed the issue. They said they would investigate and get back to us and they did. Very impressed with the way it was handled. Other than that no other issues with this hotel.

Lovely room with view to the river and mountain. The room was very quiet and cleanliness was of a high standard. The beds were so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud!!! We thought that ‘breakfast included’ meant a continental breakfast but no, what a great selection there was of hot and cold delicious food could not fault our stayto choose from.

We could not find fault with our stay!! Location (bus stop right out the front) was excellent, staff were friendly and very accommodating!!! Room service was quick and yummy!

Location was very handy for medical specialists, close to two main hospitals. On top of Spring Hill and next to large parkland. 15min walk into the CBD. The views from the hotel are excellent.

The hotel has a small rooftop pool with great views, however there is no shade for relaxing on the comfortable deckchairs provided. Shade cover could easily (and economically) be built to improve the pool area 100% We are quite fit but found walking up and down the big hills to and from the CBD to be very leg burning, resorting to taxi return on occassion.

Room was spacious. Amazing views of central Brisbane both from the room’s balcony but also from the rooftop pool area. 24/7 reception. Bathroom looked fairly newly refurbished. Meals are available during the day if you miss breakfast.

Light coming in under the door from the corridor at night was an issue. Pool was too cold to swim in after dark, though quite nice during the day. More storage space in the bedroom would be nice. Some parts of the hotel are older, do look dated and are in need of refurbishment.

The hotel reception was open at the hours required. The staff especially the cleaners were fabulous. The RESTAURANT staff were OUTSANDING the food was AMAZING and we were never let down. MY absolute FAVOURITE part was the cheese platter to the room (after a delayed flight etc - I was starving) and I never in a million years expected the jam/nuts/grapes and simply devine cheese! Pay that chef more and keep her/him lol please pass this on. I have travelled across Qld this year and your hotel food was by far the absolute BEST keep it up (ps the lamb was great too - very happy the waiter advised it normally comes out rare so I could request it well cooked).

Pool steps not so much fun but you cant make a new lift/building haha

We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room which was quite lovely but a little small, so we asked if we could have an upgrade and they gave us one without any question. We had a gorgeous king suite with a so far and balcony and extremely comfortable king bed. We slept very well and awoke to have a gorgeous shower under the luxuriois rain head. We went down to the dining room and had a full buffet breakfast which had several gluten free options and was not only hot but delicious.

Staff friendly, very accommodating and professional. Great breakfast. Bed comfortable. Room and communal areas clean. We went to drop off our luggage mid-morning and staff checked to see if our accommodation was ready, and we were able to book in early which gave us a free day to enjoy Brisbane.

Location to a shop for snacks etc a bit far for us. But we didn't ask staff so there may have been one closer than we were aware of.

We were going to a function that started at 2pm, so were very welcome to check into our room prior to the normal 2pm check-in time. The lovely girl on reception noticed it was my birthday, so offered me a bottle of wine, which was a lovely surprise. She also asked if we would prefer a balcony or one of the newly refurbished rooms. Everything was excellent, from the service and the room to breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay there again.

No complaints here!
