Arriving at the apartment there was a friendly receptionist. It was easy to park the car and find a space. The apartment was large for a 1 bedroom, and the facilities were perfect for a few days away. The bed was comfortable, and plenty of extra pillows and blankets if needed. we were surprised that it had 2 balconies one in the bedroom and one in the living area. We would stay here again close to the city with everything in walking distance including the train station.

The only negative I have is leaving the car park and having to keep the key without realising it. But it's pretty petty.

The location was incredible. The bed was the most comfortable one I’ve ever had at a hotel. There were more than enough pillows which was incredible.

I felt like the communication on the check out procedures wasn’t very clear. We were not informed that we would need to move our car out of the parking garage and into the visitor spots before giving back the keys. You have to use your keys to get out of the garage because there is a door in the way that opens with said keys. This was not explained very well.

Great apartment, good view from the top floor. Bed was exceptionally comfortable, and soundproofing between rooms was great - didn't hear anything from adjoining rooms. Water pressure was excellent and temperature very hot. Apartment came with everything I needed to enjoy my stay for the most part.

Air-con was a bit noisy and took a while to figure out how to operate. No Coffee-pod machine (instant coffee is bleh). Apartment needs a spruce-up, a few dings and scratches and loose bits. Bathroom very much still of the 80s style. Nothing dramatic, just showing signs of age. One lift broke down mid stay, but this didn't overly impact me. Location is good and bad - close to Central, walking distance to Fortitude Valley and Queen St Mall, but is a ghost town on weekends. No cafes or restaurants nearby that are open - better during the week.

Great location very close to the city and public transport, staff were friendly and accommodating. We were the first to use the new bbq facility and management came by to tell us that we were the first to and told us they were so happy someone finally used it. Fantastic oven and cooktop and a huge fridge. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the apartment. Loved having 2 bathrooms especially with 5 people. Loved the little patio just added that little bit more room.

We stayed a week in the apartments and there were very limited cleaning stuff available to use we did end up buying our own but it would have been nice to have them supply more than one small bag each of dish detergent and dishwashing liquid considering how long we were there for. The pool was not very deep however it was heated the kids still swam in it.

We could not recommend this property more! everything was perfect and fantastic value for money, our apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay and more. The staff went absolutely above and beyond for us since the beginning, we had a chilled bottle of wine in our fridge and a lovely message as we stayed here at the end of our honeymoon. Our flight home unfortunately got cancelled so we had to try and sort out a new flight and a place to stay at very short notice in Brisbane City - extremely disappointed that this property was unfortunately already booked out so we couldn’t stay here but the staff couldn’t of been more helpful and considerate of our situation. They let us sit in the lobby and use the staff Wifi to sort our new flights home, one staff member even leant us her personal phone to call the airline - this even meant she had to stay after her clock off time as we got stuck on hold (thank you so much!). The lovely staff spent a lot of time calling around other Oaks properties and researching accomodation availability around the city for us, they ended up getting us a really good discount at somewhere nearby. We really would’ve been completely lost and helpless without this assistance from the fantastic team. We always have a fantastic experience at Oaks properties, highly recommend!

Everything was perfect

A perfectly located apartment. The rooms were exactly what we wanted. They were clean and tidy. Most of the staff were very helpful.

Not all reception staff were helpful. There was a fire alarm, but the staff were unsure what to do as it was the first time it had happened. We ran down 13 flights of stairs only to be told very little by the staff. Maybe some training would help.

We had a nice balcony with beautiful views of the surrounding city buildings. The room was very comfortable, clean and the location was excellent, close to walking distance to everything in the Brisbane City.

The roll-out bed we asked for, had stains on the sheets and no blanket was provided. Looks like the bed was stored for a long time and had accumulated dirt, even the sheets had bug stains, very off-putting.

Was very quiet and a bit out of the way which was great. Good size apartment with 2 bathrooms and TVs.

The pool was out of action for 2 of the 3 days we stayed which was disappointing since we booked it mainly because of the pool. My granddaughter was very upset as there was a heat wave and the weather was very hot. We managed to have a swim on the last morning before we left.

The room was very large and the kitchen was well appointed. The view was very nice as well

The only thing I did not like the bathroom was very small and had a laundry in there as well. The ensuite was locked which would have been nice to use that . which would have been much more convenient for me.
