The Oasis Apartments

We stayed there for a long weekend. We were in Brisbane to watch the mighty Broncos play. It was a fairly easy 20-30 minute walk to the stadium , and only about 10 minutes walk the other way to the Regatta hotel. It is a bit further to the Queen Street mall, but with the awesome walkway around the river just across the road, we grabbed a few scooters and had a ball exploring the awesome city of Brisbane

It was only a few hundred metres up the road near the train station for my morning latte, at the Frog and Toad cafe, but it is up a steep hill. How bad is your hangover? How much do you need it? I think the fresh fruit helped aswell 😋. Go the mighty Broncs!!!!!

Location was superb...we know the area from many years of visits to the Wesley Hospital. Apartment was very spacious with a delightful balcony looking towards the hospital. Loved how quiet it was....no noise from Coronation Drive or from other apartments. Comfortable modern furnishings, and beds in both bedrooms were exceptionally comfortable! Huge plus!! Didn't require the fans supplied for bedrooms as the air con was super efficient. Close to Regatta Ferry terminal, bus stop and train station. An easy walk to Toowong shopping centre, the Frog and Toad store and Park Road Milton for dining and shopping. Very helpful staff and excellent security features. Would definitely stay here again!

There were only two coat hangers...one in each bedroom wardrobe. We bought some at Coles at Toowong Shopping Centre, and no face washers were supplied in either bathroom. I didn't bother staff re this, as I had brought my own on this occasion. Lighting in the second bathroom was extremely dim, but I applied my makeup in the bedroom where there was natural light, so got over that minor problem. In looking to see if there were tissues supplied, I came across a soiled towel in the bottom drawer of the vanity, and did tell staff about that. Also, the toilet in the ensuite bathroom really needed a thorough clean and bleach! The kitchen and appliances were exceptionally clean however, and the black fridge most accommodating!

Oasis Apartment, with its location along the Brisbane river, has a wonderful view throughout the day, including sun set. The settings of the unit like the living room, overall layout as well as the fittings like the TV, air conditioner, etc. all made the stay comfortable and satisfying. In addition, facilities like gym, pool, etc. are up to par as well.

The only slight down side is the distance to shopping and public transports are a bit distant. On the other hand, the parking lot, though brightly lit with natural light and sensor controlled lighting, is a bit tight at times.

Bed comfortable but we needed an extra with bedding. Only had a couch slightly too short for member of our party who had difficulty sleeping. Loved the kitchen and fridge facility, and adored the terrace and view! thank you! Loved the pool. Abd the Air conditioning.

One of the showers was broken but as soon as we could get hold of the staff it was repaired and replaced that day. We should have asked for a rollaway bed or mattress for the floor as one of our party had difficulty sleeping and could not share a bed.

Close to train stations, ferry, hospitals and south bank. Managers and staff were all friendly and accomodating

The first room we were checked in to was extremely old and out dated, had no blinds or curtains in the second room and the whole room smelt like sewerage. There was food stains in the cushions on the lounge and small holes on the lounge cover. However, the managers were in exceptional with providing us a new room after we made a complaint with no fuss and great assistance.

Location to all facilities required during our 16 day stay.

Our room facilities were lacking. All lights had dead insects, kitchen utensils broken and rusted. Curtains stained. Took 3 days to get toilet seat fixed. Seat at desk needs replacing as joints are coming apart. We were in Tower A Unit 26. Will stay at the Oasis again but definitely not in Unit 26.

It was in a great location with plenty of transport options close by. It was also within walking distance of shopping centres and restaurants. Overall it was neat and tidy with good facilities. I would return

The unit was not the cleanest when we arrived with some dust and debris left behind after what must have been some recent work undertaken to the unit. The room we had didn't have the greatest view but was still enjoyable.

Fabulous location. Close to everything we wanted to do and easy to get to. Spa was great, but could have been a little warmer. Got in the sauna to warm up which was nice. Gym was good too. No noise from other rooms when we were there.

There was a DVD player in the room however we, but didnt take kids discs as last time we stayed at Oasis we could stream. This was mainly an issue for.son with special needs. Pool says all year around, but was very cold. Dining chairs were really uncomfortable! No cushion in them just like sitting on.wooden rims. No pegs for clothesline and it kept blowing over. 1 roll of skimpy toilet paper in main bathroom.for a 2 night stay with 4 people. No dishwasher tablet/liquid. A folder on the coffee table which normally would expect to have a few directions in it about using the facilities etc, but book was just empty plastic sleeves.

Love that our appartment was close to the birthday venue we were planning to attend. No problems checking in, lady at reception was really helpful. We booked 2 rooms, one room for just an overnight stay and the other a 2 night stay, we returned a couple of days later to pickup my daughters AirPod charging case which she left by accident. Lucky we only lived on the Goldy and someone was nice enough to hand it in.❤️

If I had to compare the two appartments, one appartment had aircon in the two bedrooms and living room, that same appartment had outdoor table and chairs on their balcony, more couches and nice pictures on the wall with a large mirror…we had none of these just a big aircon in the living room… Not complaining as our stay was comfortable just wanted to point out the big difference…not a biggie but a joke that my family keeps reminding me😂

The room was spacious, and it also had sky channels, and the staff were very helpful when we needed something done. Also close to the trains and the bus stops. It also has a gym and spa and a pool, so what else would you want.

The shower was very small. Would have been nice to have a few more coat hangers for our clothes.
