Very comfortable beds, great having a modern bathroom each, great kitchen facilities, balcony, lots of room, warm and quiet. Alot of construction going on around the area and was quiet enough with the doors and windows closed. Handy to QPAC and Southbank eateries. Great cafe on ground level. Amazing rooftop bbq area and pool. Generally most of the apartment was very clean and tidy. Staff were responsive and friendly.

The upholstery on the couch and dining chairs were stained and very filthy all over, and the picture hanging above the couch was coated in thick dust. Dining chairs were wobbly/unstable. Leaky tap in kitchen and broken door handle in main bathroom, damaged ironing board that would not open (we alerted staff and they were going to repair these) Not enough tea bags provided, closest shop was quite a distance away, so would be good to be able to top up the basics easier. No usb ports in apartment. Some general maintenance checks needed and it would be better.

The apartment was clean and the rooms were an adequate size. The appliances were new and the kitchen was well stocked with the essential items. We had a fabulous view over the city of Brisbane which looked incredible at night, especially when sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. The staff were helpful and very efficient and the entry was by a key which was in a locked security box that was easily accessible with a code. The guy at reception also held our bags for us after we had checked out so we could do some last minute exploring. They had to be picked up by 5pm. There was also a Woolworths Metro and an IGA within walking distance of the apartment.

Not really a criticism but the car parking bays were really tight, but I'm sure they are probably no different from other city apartments.

We were attending a conference at BCEC, so the location was absolutely perfect being a short walk away. We arrived by train and it was an easy walk from South Brisbane to Opera Apartments, even with luggage. We arrived early, but were given keys and instructions and received a message when the room was ready, to find they had already brought our luggage to the room. The apartment was very clean and well-appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed walking to Southbank and West End for meals and could shop for groceries across the road at the IGA. Very convenient. Reception was great and very accommodating. We had arranged a car park and had no problems with that at all. It was also very quiet, which was much appreciated.

Nothing. We were very happy with everything.

Spacious apartment with large balcony. Very clean, fully equipped kitchen & laundry. Beds comfortable, shower/bathroom clean and modern, good water pressure. Very bright, lots of daylight through floor to ceiling windows. Three minute walk to Pubs, Restaurants, IGA and Convention Centre. Nice rooftop terrace with a pool and comfortable seating area with two BBQs. Very good AC. Quiet when sliding doors to balcony closed despite a busy street below. Staff very friendly and accommodating. On the ground floor next to the main entrance is a nice cafe with a good range of sourdough bread based breakfast and lunch varieties.

Slightly unpleasant smell in the corridor outside of the apartment, most likely cooking smells from other apartments on the floor. No problem at all once inside the apartment.

The location is very good being equally close (for walking) to Southbank and West End. It is also handy to public transport. there are free bus services around the city and if you stay in the city limits paid buses are also free. Plenty of places to eat out and nearby super markets if you want to buy groceries etc, The accommodation is fairly new, clean and well maintained. Amenities are in good condition (fridge washer etc). Overall it was good value. Would stay there again if the Southbank area etc was our focus. It was also surprisingly quiet at night.

There were no annoying issues during our stay.

The apartment was spacious with great facilities, particularly the washing machine and tumble dryer, both used to clean a backlog of clothes. Sleeping accommodation comprised of two good-sized bedrooms having queen beds (which we requested). These sleeping quarters both had roomy onsuite shower, washbasin and toilet. The kitchen area had good facilities, four cooking rings with a decent sized oven. A kitchen island added to the modern appeal. An effective and efficient fridge freezer was great for stocking with food and drink. The welcome air conditioning was extremely efficient and much needed in the sizzling Brisbane climate. A large TV had the added bonus of a separate DVD player (no discs to play though, so bring a few for any restless children). A dining table seated four and also allowed for a large sofa in the lounge, but this did not compromise on the space.. A sliding door led out to a good-sized balcony with seating, overlooking the suburbs. The glass fronted rails could prove awkward for anyone suffering from vertigo (but we were on the 15th floor - great views though). Reception staff (Enty and colleague) were very helpful and swift to respond to any issues. Finally, the rooftop pool was fantastic for a cooling swim, although fairly small it hit the spot and was very clean.

The amount of water needed to run until it became hot. Not really environmentally friendly, but, in their defence, this was investigated the following day when we mentioned it to Reception.

The apartment was spacious and light, the location was very good, just over 5 minutes away from convenience shops and places to eat (burgers/wings/doorstop sandwiches/Chinese/Indian/Japanese/Vietnamese), just under 10 mins walk to a large Coles, Woolworths supermarket and Harris Farm market (West End Village), in the opposite direction towards the river you have the South Bank train station, Museums and South Bank Parklands. A 20 minute walk going across the river you will get to Queen Street for the chain restaurants, boutiques, shops and departments stores.

Reception only open in the morning on the weekends. The lift and corridor to the apartments are overly warm and stuffy. There is no bidet or flexible shower hose and no grab rails (elderly mother travelled with us). No towels provided for the use of the pool.

The apartment was great. All the amenities we needed for an extended stay. Walking distance to the West End for groceries, cafes and the Avid Reader bookshop! Walking distance to the river and Cultural centre. Really quite. Good sized balcony. Staff loaned their umbrella on a rainy day.

The apartment had a damp/sweaty smell when it was closed up, maybe that's just a Brisbane humidity thing. Extra towels would be great if no servicing for less than 7 day stay. We washed ours. An extra bath mat was needed as the shower water went everywhere.
