What a surprise, the motel from the outside looked old and uninviting but looks can be deceiving. The room excelled with all comforts and was clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was close to the centre of town .

The second night we returned and the room was inhabited by mozzies. Being late I didn't wish to disturb the staff so drove about 1 kilometre to the IGA and purchased a tin of fly spray. Problem solved.

Friendly Young couple giving it a go at running a motel and the challenges that come along with it. Any issues that was raised were addressed. Clean and tidy room with comfortable bed. Can see they have pride in their business and want to make a comfortable experience for their guests.

A table for dining in would have been a nice touch. No cookies with the tea and coffee. I travel regularly to Bundaberg, all other motels have the cookies

We were in Bundaberg, for the Lighthouse Country concerts. From check-in, to check-out, we enjoyed our stay @ Sun City. Nothing was a problem for Jessica, the owner. We needed a sharp knife to cut some tomatoes & she gave us one to use. The room was spotless, the bed was nice & comfortable & there is a pool & bbq area for guests to use. We've stayed in many motels over the years, & SCM would rate as one of the best. We've re-booked for next year, if LHC is on again. Thoroughly recommend SCM. The rates are excellent, as well. The manager Jess was super accommodating and considerate. I asked for / about multiple things on a few occasions before checking in and she sorted everything out for us. (Put iron and ironing board in the room, confirmed there was fridge and microwave, even got us soy milk without us asking. She just saw our notes and took initiative. Definitely went over and above). The room was clean, bright and freshly painted with crisp sheets and comfy beds.

Spacious, great layout, recently painted / renovated room. Bathroom / Shower were clean with modern vanity with plenty of bench space for toiletries. Comfy King sized bed. Guest Laundry available at reasonable price. Friendly staff. Close to CBD, Botanic Gardens & walking distance to a really good cafe for coffee & food (Oodies Cafe). Close to IGA for groceries. Good value for money compared to other Motels in CBD.

Our room was close to the road which did get a little noisy at times. Staff apologised that they had no quieter rooms available but would have relocated us if it were possible.

Extremely clean. Is an older property but could not fault the cleanliness impressive Microwave and kettle and toaster which was great - didn’t realise these were available when booking. Such great added extras

The staff, cleanliness of the room. The little touches and thoughts that made us feel special - like the way the towels were folded (so perfectly), how the little bathroom toiletries were set up - NOT having those gross bed end material things - this motel had a fluffly blanket that is washed each time. It was so comfy and we used them as we knew they were clean (unlike most other motels). We loved the cleanliness of the room and the bed - everything was exceptional for a motel and it just was wonderful. We were very impressed and had a great stay. Even their bathroom shower drain was CLEAR and sparkly - unlike most motels. They just really clean properly and make it a nice stay. The best motel we've ever stayed in.

Nothing. It was great! The outside of the motel doesn't reflect the inside - so don't judge it by the outside. If they spruced that up, it would be unstoppable!

Spacious room, comfy bed, clean and convenient location. Lovely staff at check-in, everything you need for an overnight stay.

As with most motels in Bundaberg, you are near a busy road and light sleepers may be disturbed by traffic noise. Google maps directions to the hotel are also a little confusing - if you are able to travel to the motel so that you are travelling north on Tallon Bridge and then turning left into Thornhill street, that will be better than trying to cross 4 lanes of traffic from the other side.

Clean. Large, comfortable bed. Everything worked. What more can you ask for? Short walk to the Spotted Dog eatery where we had a good evening meal. Short walk to the good botanical gardens.

We thought the passing truck traffic was going to be noisy, but even with the bathroom window wide open it was quite subdued and wasn't really a problem at all.

Friendly and easy check in. The room and facilities were nice and clean. The pool and games area outside was cute and fun. The info booklet was handy as we got in late and were able to look at menus for local take-away/restaurants and get some food quickly.
