Alexandra Apartments

We stayed in an end apartment. The apartment was clean n tidy. Location was close to plaza, shops n take away. Was like being in the city but without all the noise. The bed in the main room was one mattress not two put together which is a bonus n was comfortable for me but not as comfortable for my partner. The wardrobe in main bedroom was big enough to walk in. The backyard was nice n quiet with a green(b/c it had rained) grassed area. The upstairs bathroom had a big corner bath as well as a separate shower. There was a separate toilet downstairs as well as one in the bathroom upstairs. There is laundry in the garage.

The lounge was comfortable but only enough room for two people considering it’s a two bedroom apartment. The tv was also on the small side. Lights in main room didn’t work but had one bed side lamp. No outside clothes line.

The apartment had a great kitchen with everything needed to make a meal at home if we wanted to. It was large in size with 3 bedrooms for the kids and a very comfortable 2 bathroom arrangement. Included a small courtyard for outdoor entertaining. The apartment was also well stocked with towels for all the members of our party. We also appreciated that the apartment was centrally located in town near all essential amenities.

The garage was small and difficult to get into. In the end we didn't use it as we would have scratched our car (4wd in size). The room had definitely seen a bit of wear - marks on the carpet and walls, and a wall patching in a few spots.

Great location, 5 minute walk to supermarket, shops and car rental place. Quiet and secure with ample off street parking. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful and townhouse was large enough for 6 people with all facilities for cooking and washing. Had air-conditioners down stairs and in all bedrooms upstairs and they were nice and quiet.

Fan in bathroom didn't work and carpet needs replacing as badly stained. All bedrooms could use different blinds as they did nothing to block out any light, awake at 5am each day. Bedside tables and practical PowerPoint's in bedrooms would be helpful. Also dangerous to be able to lock bedroom doors when you have children. Just a general overall dust of wardrobes and attention to small details and any maintenance issues would greatly improve impressions. But overall a nice convenient place to stay.

The customer service we received was beyond exceptional. The staff cannot do enough for you. Safe and secure premises. We organised this apartment for our son who was on a university placement and it exceeded all our expectations. The staff worked around his shift hours to clean his apartment, We cannot recommend Peta and her staff enough. 11/10

It was close to where I had to go. Apartment was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and super friendly Really quiet area which was nice

I don’t want to be picky but there were no scissors in the drawer… and the bedroom blinds were way to light and first crack of sunlight came beaming in.. but I am used to blockout curtains too… but other than that everything else was great

Self contained units. Private spacious pati with large table and chairs. Close walking distance to suburban supermarkets and shopping centre. Close to airport. Late arrival accommodated for with key lock availability. Lock up private garage.

A two storey building may not be suitable for everyone and is a consideration. It was fine for us though.

Ease and convenience of location. Apartment was clean, comfortable and friendly. It had everything we needed and more with surrounding shops, apartment facilities, quiet location. It made our stay so easy with no stress at all. Staff communicated well.

Only downside is the small garage especially if you have a big car. Small carpark but the off street parking is available. Can get a little bit jammy when too many cars rock up to park.

Alexandra Apartments was well positioned for what we needed. The property was immaculately clean and used good quality linen and crockery. it was well stocked with essentials and offered a reasonable priced and extensive mini bar. Full laundry facilities in each unit were a bonus. We were unsure of our booking dates so a free cancellation policy was assuring. Staff were helpful and efficient.

The property is showing its age but is still comfortable. Not being able to open or close the garage door with a key or remote or entry into the unit first needed extra planning and was feasible with two people but, difficult when there was one person only.

Apartment was easy to find, close to a large shopping centre. Check in was easy. At check out, there was nobody in the office but the cleaners were around and left the key with them. You could just lock up and leave key in the box as well. Apartment had everything we needed for a one night stay. About 20 minute drive to Mon Repos which was the reason for our visit.

The outdoor furniture was well worn, we were a bit to worried we'd go through the seats to use them.

The Apartments here are double story, with a garage. they are spacious, modern and have a full kitchen with a full-size fridge. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer which is a huge positive for a worker such as myself. The staff were very friendly, and the premises were cleaned perfectly. If I were to nit pick, and I mean that in the best way, it would be that there are some wear and tear marks on the walls and staircase in the high trafficked areas of the apartment. The pricing was amazing for the product. It is pretty much opposite Sugarland shopping centre, and whilst outside of the main body of the town, it is still conveniently located within walking distance to major and minor food outlets, cinemas and grocery stores. Being out of town a couple of kilometres, it made the traffic noise basically undetectable. I thank the staff for their concern when I took ill and went to the hospital overnight, and they went out of the way to assist me with any queries I had. Well done.

Some wear and tear on the walls, and stairs. But again this is a really nit picking issue.
