We stayed in a 2-bed ocean view apartment - the apartment was huge, clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great view. Very quiet and no queues for lifts! Staff very friendly and helpful. The pool is amazing, never felt crowded (despite being peak holiday time) and kids loved the toddler part (which was warm!). Excellent location - 5 min walk to beach (also never crowded + patrolled) and shops/restaurants/cafes. Away from the intensity of central Surfer's Paradise but close enough to walk to/catch the tram one stop. Short (10 min) drive to theme parks. This hotel is dated but still a great place to stay - and the dated decor just adds to the charm.

A breakfast option would have been ideal.

The hotel sits in the heart of Surfer's Paradise, with easy access to a great beach and all kinds of shops. The facilities are particularly good for young families, with wonderful swimming pools of various sorts, close to the reception desk. The ocean view from our rooms on the 17th and 26th floors were spectacular. Our family group was staying in rooms on three different floors of the hotel but reception enabled our room fobs to access all there of the floors. This was very convenient.

The building as a whole felt a little tired and the lifts, although very fast, were elderly and a bit clunky. Our two-bedroom room on the 26th floor was wonderful but our three-bedroom room on the 17th floor had no carpet and was rather echoey.

The Mantra Crown Towers was amazing! The facilities and pool area were perfect. Our room was clean, spacious and great views

Only small disappointment was they didn’t leave a towel in the room for our son. Went and asked a lady at reception for a couple more towels as they only gave us 1 each and I would have liked one for my hair and one for my toddler. The receptionist didn’t want to give me a towel, she said they don’t give out additional towels and that’s what the washing machine and dryer are for in our room. Just put a dampener on our stay and made me very frustrated and disappointed over something as simple as an extra towel.

The pool was amazing. Not overcrowded. Nicely decorated. Room was clean enough but the bathroom smelt like bleach, could feel it in the shower on the floor. Little kiosk does an amazing breakfast. Tram station right at the door if you walk out the pool exit. Got a call to let me know when my room was ready a little early. Overall a decent stay good value for what I paid.

Long walk from the pool/ exit to the elevators. Room very outdated. Which I read in reviews beforehand and didn’t think was an issue until I got there. Lounge wasn’t amazing and lounge tv too small but happy to sit in the bedroom and watch tv from there’

We stayed with our 2 young kids, pool facilities were amazing!! Rooms were spacious and super handy having the laundry and kitchen. Great location only being one block from the beach and we had a beautiful view from our room.

The room was a bit tired, but I knew this after reading prior reviews and everything still worked fine so the positives covered for this. It would’ve been great to have more than one cleaning service over the 10 day stay as we found ourselves asking reception for extra amenities a lot through our stay.

I had several issues during my stay. Water was constantly dripping from the air conditioner, which was quite inconvenient. The TV was outdated—no smart TV, and the remote didn’t work. In the kitchen, there was no chopping board, which would have been useful. Additionally, the dryer’s filter was broken, causing dust to go back onto clothes. On top of that, the reception staff could be more friendly and welcoming. They seemed robotic and unhappy, creating an unfriendly vibe that didn’t feel supportive. Overall, these issues impacted my experience, and I hope they’re addressed for future guests.

Pools were amazing, and the location was great very handy to the tram and bus services. The beach is close and so are great shops you can walk to get everything you need.

The fridge was dirty on arrival. and the floor felt dirty on arrival, however after the mid week clean the floor felt clean. There needs to be a mat under the bed, as it is constantly moving because its on wooden floors, also it would have been great to have more tv channels or sky maybe this could be an action for improvement.

Location was excellent - close to EVERYthing (tram, beach, shops, town centre), but also away from hustle and bustle of centre. Facilities were excellent - LOVED sauna and the 3 pools. Very nice to have such good kids pools. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Appartement was beautifuly - with great view. Appartment had everything we needed- little things like dishwashing powder and washing detergent were a nice handy touch. Ran out of varius items in room during the stay but staff quickly replenished anything we needed.

Facilities were amazing, loved the pools, reception was beautiful and location was awesome, just a short walk to the tram station. View from the room over the ocean was lovely and we are very appreciative that reception upgraded us to this room with a view.

The 2 bedroom apartment was huge like a house. We loved the size of it. The beds were comfy. The rest of the furniture was worn and tired. Cleanliness was a bit off putting with filthy fans, sticky furniture and all walls needed a really good clean.

Kids loved the multiple pools including the lagoon pool which was freezing but they have 1 indoor heated pool which was nice and warm. Also 2 spas and 1 waterslide. Loved the view from the balcony of gold coast water ways at night and during sunrise and sunset. Loved the size of the 3 bedroom stay. Great massive TV in lounge for kids switch games. Extra tv in main bedroom. Loved the location only a few minutes to tram stop and a few minutes to the surfers paradise beach. Shopping mall on 1 tram stop of 7 mins walk. About 5 mins to Coles for groceries. Some cheap restaurants 5 mins walk.

No chopping board in kitchen. Dishwasher not great so had to wash half load by hand. The key door entry a bit fiddly to open and one point the lock got jammed but fixed with a little wriggling. Reception not open after 8pm until 7am next day.
