Breakfast was really good and worth it. Was $32 dollars for buffet. But you can get it for free if you sign up for the memberships which is free to sign up.

The view from the room was exceptional

There were no plates or cutlery, but got them upon request. It will be good to have a toaster in the room as well to use for breakfast.

The balcony was great, views to Southport and to the ocean. The bed was very comfortable. Location was close to the beach and to Cypress Avenue tram stop. Nice reception staff.

The only annoyance was that the bathroom fan could not be turned off. Constant noise, audible even with the bathroom door closed and sleeping furthest away near the window. Housekeeping did not come on the day before departure, resulting in a larger volume of recycling, and the day's rubbish not removed. As I am tidy, it wasn't problematic, but it was a service not received as expected.

The location was superb for all travellers. Walking distance from everything in surfers and on a great position to attend the beach. This hotel was good for families ,travellers or party goers. The second room I was put in was fabulous and quiet with a gorgeous view of the sunrise and ocean.

The first room I was put in I would not recommend unless travelling specifically to party. It was overlooking the clubs and could hear music with doors closed and lights flashing. If I was there for party atmosphere I would recommend this room stile to people. I would suggest knowing your purpose for your stay to request the room location in this hotel.

The location of the hotel in View Street is excellent. Close to the beach on one side and shops and restaurants on the other side. There are two supermarkets within a five minute walk and it is very close to the light rail station Cypress Avenue. The special breakfast deal for $20 for full buffet breakfast was good value. We ate at the Clock Tower pub across the road which was reasonably priced and the meals were delicious. The rooms were spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful.

Rooms with even numbers face the Cali Beach Club which pumps out music until midnight on the weekends. We had to change rooms to the other side of the building as the music was coming through the walls at 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon. The balcony railings are a death trap for small children so do not stay here with little ones or lock that balcony door and do not go out there. The bathroom wall has a groovy opaque glass panel so if you turn the bathroom light on during the night it lets a fair bit of light through to disturb a sleeping partner. Why don't designers think of these things?

The reception was quite helpful and looked after our need. The express check out system made our check-out quite easy. Hotel provided luggage room which helped us with safe keeping of our luggage after check-out which is quite appreciable. Highly recommend to others.

We reached hotel 1 hour early around 1 PM, so we requested if we can get the room a bit early. However, we had told to wait for sometime. So we thought by 2 PM we would be getting our room. However, we had to wait till 2.20 PM to finally get the keys to our room. Apart from being a bit late rest all things were okay for us.

The room I got had a view of the city and the beach. It was lovely waking up and opening the sliding door, and here the waves crash. It was right around the block from the shopping centre and was surrounded by lots of things to do. It was close to public transport (bus and light rail). The beach was a 2 minute walk away. The room was neat.

I would prefer to have more pillows as the pillows were quite thin. It had sheer curtains so if you don't mind being woken up with the sunrise, then it should be no problem.

The breakfast was delicious with so many options we truly enjoyed eating every morning. The location also very convenient everything close-by. Lastly, the views, sights and lights were beautiful it was so lovely to walk around at nights. Great place surfers paradise beach vibes.

Well everything was great except for the lifts in the carpark area it wasn't working. We had to walk long way from car to room with bags always. And spa pools were bit small but not complaining. Mostly carpark lift area inconvenient especially with kids and all.

It was pretty good. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean. Bathroom was fairly spacious. It was in an excellent location, walking distance from several good restaurants, markets, and even coles when needed supplies. There were clean towels and clean sheets. Fairly quiet considering how much in the city we were.

The room was fairly small, but honestly that was exactly as expected. It was big enough to crash in. Elevator from the carpark was out during our stay, but that was probably fixed fairly soon after. I got the impression we just had unlucky timing rather than an ongoing problem.
