I received a large, comfortable room with 2 beds and a balcony overlooking the boats. The bathroom is large and well-equipped. Possibility to eat breakfast and dinner (for an additional fee) in the restaurant located on the ground floor of the hotel. Internet works quite well. A big advantage is the ability to park your car in an underground parking lot.

Bad smell in the bathroom - there's a stench of sewage. Some of the furniture in the room was damaged. Dirty underground parking lot, there is small garbage everywhere. The walls and ceiling of the garage need to be stripped because they are dirty with visible stains.

The two Marina View rooms were clean and well presented. The beds and pillows were very comfortalbe, and the towels nice and white and fluffy. There was a table and two chairs in the room, plus two plastic chairs and a small table outside which was great so we could watch the children swimming.

The was a microwave and a small bar fridge, plus a sink in the kitchenette, which is always a bonus. The idea of a kitchenette is to have an option of bringing your own food and drinks. The microwave to heat up any food required. So, the letdown for these rooms was as simple as NO crockery and cutlery. It was fine for us because we drove and had our own picnic gear. For anyone flying in and wanting to eat in the room, it's a dismal failure. This could be easily remedied with some plates and cutlery.

We booked that morning for a 2 night stay after we had some changes to our plans and were able to check in from 10am that morning with no extra check in fee. The rooms were spacious and had 2 big comfortable beds. Balcony was great that looked over the pool area and the boats. The value for money was fantastic. This was an unexpected trip for us and most hotels wanted over $700-$800 without car parking or early check in fees however this was less than $400 with early check in and free car parking. The lady on reception was extremely helpful and patient. They had issues with the lifts not working and the receptionist was walking every to their rooms and helping with their luggage. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly.

The lift was broken for our duration and it was stairs so taking the suitcases up and down was the only downfall but very minimal. Every time we went downstairs for a walk or to eat, the lift people were there but still hadn’t been fixed. No fault of the hotel though. The only thing was that the receptionist was on her own from the moment we walked in until when we checked out. She was personally taking people to their rooms and helping with luggage so when she was away, the desk wasn’t serviced. It was so lovely of her, but she was run off her feet and there was no one to support her.

I was looking for a place to stay for 1 night while I was visiting the area for work. The Hope Harbour Hotel was only 20mins from The Boat Works. For the nightly rate I had paid, everything was as I would hope. There was convenient parking, having a restaurant on the property was really great and the food was delicious. I had a fettuccini carbonara for dinner, and it had been prepared traditionally (not with cream) and was just what I needed after a long day! The staff were friendly, helpful and accomodating. It was nice and relaxing, looking out over the marina in QLD's beautiful weather.

My room could have been cleaner, however I am very picky! The bed and linen were 10/10 for cleanliness.

Sea views from balcony. Quiet and comfortable. Privacy is honoured. Clean and tidy. Gym facilities. Great walks along marina. Plenty parking space below.

Our room WiFi is managed by a plugged in Telstra dongle, it's not unlimited and slows right down if you exceed the limit. We are 3 adults on our laptops, we gave up after day two and just read books. Despite the above, we appreciate and enjoy the privacy, the view and the peaceful surroundings. We are a family with simple needs and wants. This place is a lovely family holiday getaway, very clean and comfortable.

The location was amazing and the ocean views were spectacular. It’s close to the theme parks and shopping centres. It’s got an amazing in house restaurant. The food is amazing. The bar and live music and sports theme in the bar are spectacular. The accommodation is buzzing with happiness and it reflects from the happy staff, through to the happy visitors. There is live music on weekends. Parking was disability friendly and the rooms were easy to access with my luggage. There is plenty of space in the rooms to relax even with kids and all their toys. A very lovely and refreshing family vacation. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

We could not stay longer. The holiday was way too short.

The breakfast was not up to vakue. On 2 occasions there was no bread for toast. I think a better eye needs to be kept on the products used for breakfast. I wanted to have a cooked breakfast on 2 occasions. There wasn't anyone there to serve me.

The advertising material that was handed on arrival was a very poor English info sheet obviously was created by a Chinese person. There were about 39 errors on the sheet. I corrected the sheet and left it with the lady behind the desk. If you advertise your facilities you must use propper English, not what is commonly called (Chinglish)

Lobby was beautiful, rooms were clean, comfortable and great value. Staff and locals were amazing. Meal was cooked to perfection, best eye fillet I’ve ever had. Thank you to restaurant and bar staff very friendly and welcoming. Beds were so comfortable.

Check in was a little uncomfortable. Reception lady on her mobile throughout check in. But still polite. Had lots of luggage but couldn’t use trolley to room as 4 stairs halfway to our room. Room fridge was off for sometime before our check in, hair dryer looks old and rusty on inside (potential fire hazard).

The location was stunning. Value for money was hard to believe. We were looking for a cheap motel to stay at for our two days at the theme parks but fluked out finding the hotel at a cheaper rate then other motels. Room was huge, clean beds super comfy and super quiet quiet. It also had a 5* view facing the marina and the kids thought we were millionaires coming into that huge shiny foyer. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Wifi was provided on request. Breakfast was a bonus. And had all you expect for continental.

I couldn’t believe reading the negative reviews. It was the best value for money hotel I’d ever stayed at. And I’ve travelled a lot. If you were expecting the Hilton maybe.

The owner running the hotel couldn't speak English very well. Couldn't comprehend what we asked. They are new. No idea of bookings until we showed our conformation and had no idea of charges until we could prove it. Communication not very good. Our room was very good and were happy with it. Did suggest mattress and pillow protectors (which are compulsory) so their new bedding wouldn't get stained. They need to learn a lot on how to run a professional establishment. At the moment they have no idea.

Most was said in the paragraph above. There is nothing to do near there for families in close proximity unless you drive at least half an hour. Some beautiful parks for the little ones
