What a beautiful property. I came along with my son! When we entered the foyer he exclaimed “we are staying somewhere SO FANCY.” We enjoyed the facilities, we used both pools, our room amazingly deep bath with good water pressure in the shower too! We will be back!

Nothing. I was skeptical as the reviews do seem a little off putting but in all honesty we couldn’t fault our stay. Staff were lovely, restaurant was yum! Love the pricing, I’m not sure why people were complaining?

It's quirky. The view was beautiful, rooms were good size and clean enough, beds were excellent. It has such potential to be even better with a bit more of a professional hotel touch. The table tennis table got a real workout from my son and everyone played challenge games against him. The ability to call down to the kitchen have the BBQ cleaned, prepared your own food, with their crockery and utensils etc and then leave the dishes for the staff to clean was great and made it feel more like a holiday.

The food in the restaurant was good but the staff need to learn to prepare more meals at once and clean tables etc as they go. Has huge potential if they can prepare and deliver the food in line with what people expect from bistro's/pubs etc.

The location and entrance from street is quite lovely, the grand setting and views to the water was unexpected. The walk along the canal was nice at night and in the mornings. I had a room over the pool looking out to the yachts moored, so a lovely and quiet setting. Room was larger than I expected, with a bath in bathroom - a bonus I enjoyed on first night with a night cap. Cereal breakfasts were discounted from the full brekky, coffee barista made amazing oat flat whites and mochas. When arriving on a Sunday, a one man band was singing old-school tunes, there were many in attendance, yet only a few stayed for dinner service. Had an impromptu dinner date with a newly met Kiwi couple over for their niece's wedding at Sanctuary Cove. Would definitely stay here again, I couldn't fault the service from the time I was greeted to the time I left Hope Harbour. I like that it is a professional setting, but also very family friendly. Don't allow lower than usual pricing sway you from checking in here, I'm so pleased I found this hotel as last minute accommodation in Hope Island.

Only that roast potatoes were hard, when having with lamb roast dinner Sunday night. Other than this, everything else eaten from restaurant was of reasonable quality.

My young daughter and I had the most amazing overnight stay, great location as we went to Dreamworld, the customer service has to be one the best I have ever had.. the wonderful Lady that checked us in (I didn't get her name unfortunately) was so positive, friendly and helpful I can't thank her enough for making us feel so welcome & comfortable. The room was clean it had all the necessities for a short stay, very comfortable beds, wifi worked amazing, great food/grocery facilities that are close by and even what is offered by the hotel food/drink wise, there are multiple things to do around the hotel eg. table tennis/pool/pool table/Maria you can walk around & buffet breakfast at an amazing price, this hotel is extremely family friendly, and we can't wait to stay again.

Nothing I would 120% stay here again :D

The property was a bit old and daggy but I loved it! It was a beautiful stop to stay for a work trip as it had everything I needed at a really good price. The young man on reception was really helpful. I had a beautiful room with a view of the lovely clean pool. Would recommend!! The Thai restaurant down the road is AMAZING and so is the Little Spoon cafe, lots of very friendly people.

It was a bit dated and the tap was very loose but nothing that affected my stay too much. It was very reasonably priced so I was ok with it.

I received a large, comfortable room with 2 beds and a balcony overlooking the boats. The bathroom is large and well-equipped. Possibility to eat breakfast and dinner (for an additional fee) in the restaurant located on the ground floor of the hotel. Internet works quite well. A big advantage is the ability to park your car in an underground parking lot.

Bad smell in the bathroom - there's a stench of sewage. Some of the furniture in the room was damaged. Dirty underground parking lot, there is small garbage everywhere. The walls and ceiling of the garage need to be stripped because they are dirty with visible stains.

Hotel layout, the pool was great. The room was great.

The food situation.... for a "restaurant" there were no tea options as a family with different tastes and needs. Breakfast.. a bit pricey for what you got.. there were not many options, and the options that were available were old and dry or not cooked properly. 45 minutes for a kid to have to wait for waffles with a little bit of ice cream was ridiculous, too.

Place was alright, comfy bed and pillows. Had a marina view of boats from balcony. Spacious room with a couch, table and chairs. Had choice of shower or bath which was good.

Tv doesn’t have many Chanel’s to look at and sometimes doesn’t work but that didn’t bother us cause barely used it. Had some men doing some plumbing work so had no access to water for quite some time and had noises of machinery until past 11pm so wasn’t the best. Shower pressure isn’t the best but can still have nice hot showers.

location was beautiful over the harbour, food options at restaurant downstairs was good, spacious size family unit room, price reasonable. Nice outdoor area on balcony off room and also downstairs Our 2.5yr old loved the table tennis in foyer and the giant chess board outside near restaurant. Staff management on hotel desk all very polite & welcoming & helpful. Have stayed there several times now due to service and affordability.

Long walk to lift where we were located, and not enough available car parking at times

The two Marina View rooms were clean and well presented. The beds and pillows were very comfortalbe, and the towels nice and white and fluffy. There was a table and two chairs in the room, plus two plastic chairs and a small table outside which was great so we could watch the children swimming.

The was a microwave and a small bar fridge, plus a sink in the kitchenette, which is always a bonus. The idea of a kitchenette is to have an option of bringing your own food and drinks. The microwave to heat up any food required. So, the letdown for these rooms was as simple as NO crockery and cutlery. It was fine for us because we drove and had our own picnic gear. For anyone flying in and wanting to eat in the room, it's a dismal failure. This could be easily remedied with some plates and cutlery.
