The rooms were really lovely - clean, bright and modern. The staff were amazing, especially at breakfast and when we checked out. Would definitely come back to stay at the InterContinental. Our breakfast was included in the price and was absolutely amazing! We used to be taken by buggy to the restaurants at Sanctuary Cove and the guys dropping us off and picking us up were incredible and so friendly and helpful.

Perhaps could do with a bit of updating in certain areas. A bit understaffed in the bar area and unfortunately we would not recommend The Fireplace restaurant. Food was average the the 2 young waitresses were doing their best, but the 2 people (chefs) behind the counter where the fireplace is looked like they really didn’t want to be at work!

Location, staff at Cove cafe, especially the chef Casey were very helpful and attentive for my kids with food allergies. This was greatly appreciated. Lovely pool. Beautiful grounds and buildings.

Male staff member on reception on 21/09 late morning with a French name, lacked kindness in interaction. I enquired about amending our reservation due to a family emergency. He gave me the correct information in redirecting me to booking.com, but with no acknowledgement or concern. I was visibly crying. A few words of kindness would have made a massive difference here. In contrast - the service from booking.com was fabulous. Thank you.

Our room was amazing, overlooking the marina, very clean and nice facilities. The grounds are all beautifully manicured. The breakfast selection covered everyone's taste. What I was particularly impressed about was receiving a phone call before we left NZ for Brisbane, just to check on our booking and ensure they would be taking care of everything for us. Then on checking, it was clear that our requests were being taken care of. We loved our room and they made sure our preference was noted in our booking for future stays. Everything was so professionally taken care of, we will be back again! Thank you Santuary Cove!

Absolutely nothing!!

There was Netflix and youtube on the tv. I also loved the giant lagoon pool and the kangaroo. The location was perfect as it was close to wet and wild, sea world and movie world and the marine village was filled with wonderful stores.

When we checked the tv thing that showed info about buggies, it showed stuff on attractions. This though is only a small imperfection and barely changes how wonderful our experience in this resort was

I loved our stay here! the checkin staff were great and accommodating. They were happy to change our room to suit the bed requirements of children. the beds were amazing and I got to enjoy a sleep in. The gardens are lush and well kept and we even had a surprise kangaroo or two outside our room. The facilities were amazing and we spent much of the morning floating around the lagoon. we were so lucky that the weather was sunny as it was forecast to be raining for our whole stay. My 8 yo really enjoyed playing with the other children at the poolside activities and took away a special souvenir.

Beautiful and serene. Picturesque landscapes and property. Lovely and helpful staff. Beautiful room. Big living area. Pool pillows. Plenty of seating around the beach. Great location close to shops.

Just needed some TLC. The bottoms of both pools looked uninviting and in need of fresh paint. The long step in the beach pool was completely brown and worn away. Paving etc outside was well kept but could do with a refresher to modern it up. All in all though, we really enjoyed our stay. We just felt that for $650 for a one night stay, the condition of the pools would be outstanding.

Loved the kangaroos loitering around the property and the views over the marina. The room was spacious and comfortable, the grounds lovely to walk around, the main building and breakfast room very comfortable and welcoming. Staff friendly and helpful.

I was freezing cold the first night and there was no spare blanket in the room. I tried turning the air con up but it didn't heat so had to turn it off and sleep with a jumper and trackies on over my pyjamas! (I stupidly never thought to ring Reception for a blanket.) The room I was in was next to a set of access stairs and I could hear people talking, laughing etc., as they came and went after hours, plus could hear movement and toilets flushing from the room above me, so soundproofing could be better.

Room was impressive

Had to keep curtains closed for privacy Requested early chech in but was not possible but would call when room was ready. Left hotel for a wedding (post official check in time) seeing other guest getting their keys but we had not been called. Was moving cases after the wedding. Not ideal After starting shower realised the shower gel dispenser was empty. There was only 1 bath robe

We loved absolutely everything about this place. We loved the Breakfast and how everything was Dairy free and Gluten Free. The Service, Food and Drinks upstairs at the Bistro/Bar section was amazing. They couldn't have done more for you. The Lagoon we swam in every day and it was great.

The service at the Restaurant could have been better. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service upstairs better.

I had heating problem in my room first night and I called the reception to fix the issue. without any question, they checked the issue and transferred me to another room. All the staff members were so kind, friendly and helpful. they made us feel really special and welcomed. The room was quite large and view was amazing. the beach pool and spa was really nice but the weather was too cold to use them. breakfast buffet wasn’t very big but still there was good quality food and very friendly staff. there were kangaroos around the garden and the landscape was amazing.
