Surf Parade Resort

Location was good, about a 5 minute walk to the Florida Gardens tram stop (chose not to hire a car for the trip). Visited for the Gold Coast Marathon weekend so the spa bath in the room was handy after the marathon. Close to shared walking/e-bike/bike path junction near the Langham Hotel which made walking up to Surfers Paradise or down to Broadbeach easy. Property kept me informed with check-in and check-out information via text.

One downlight not working in the bathroom but I felt this was minor and didn't have any effect on the stay.

Great location - close to G-link and beach. Reasonably priced. Check-in and check-out were easy despite being after hours. Loved the pool and spa. Spa bath in room was a bonus. Decent view of ocean. Cool that they supplied tennis rackets too for playing at their tennis court.

Several of our dishes were not very clean when we arrived, there was a used towel left under the bed, and the floor was quite dirty. The bedsheets and rest of the towels appeared clean though. Small thing but would have been nice to have a couple more towels rather than only one each (pool towels were available to hire from reception but with a fee) and more toilet paper etc supplied but not a major issue.

Close to the train station and the beach.. about half way between surfers and broadbeach. Had everything you need.. kitchen facilities, balcony, pool (not that I got to go there), separate bedroom. It was comfy.. and they were very responsive to my message where other places didn't reply..

Was noisy.. neighbour's were partying so it wasn't ideal. Reception isn't open very long hours..so if you need advise on what to do and places to go there isn't someone to talk to.. perhaps could be upgraded a little as a little dated.. the instructions were good for the TV.. no room service though

Good location. Good view & nice balcony. Apartment equipment working well, comfortable stay & clean. Easy secure access to building. Good facilities.

Lacking some cooking equip/utensils eg: tongs, pots/pans, oven grilling tray top. Not good supply of dish washing liquid for long stays & require scrubbing brush to clean items well (grater). Some light switches broken. Bathroom door doesn’t close/open easily, gets stuck on floor almost closed.

There is so much to like about this property. The location is excellent, close to the patrolled beach, shared walkway/esplande, and centrally placed less than 2km each way to Kurra Beach (south) and Cavill Ave, right in the centre of Surfers Paradise. Our apartment was spacious, with a homely feel and nice verandah. The pool, spa and BBQ area is just superb and nice and clean. Great place to wind down after a day out. There's also an ice machine. Thankyou to Mario and his team for outstanding communication before and during our stay, which I really appreciated. Highly recommended from a couple of very happy kiwi's

Room was wonderful, fully equipped kitchen, wifi, spa bath in the bathroom and views of the beach from our balcony. Bedroom itself was comfortable and quiet. A minute's walk from the beach and closest cafe, close to the tram to Surfers or Broadbeach. Great value for it's cost.

The portacot we requested was very old and unassembled on arrival. It was hard to put together so we ended up renting one. Only 1 sachet of dishwashing liquid, understandable as it's hard to estimate how much a guest will use, but when travelling with an infant/toddler there is plenty of cleaning to do. Bin liners would've been appreciated as well to help keep the place clean.

The pool was in a secluded spot. The hot tub was lovely and warm. It was good to have use of the pool, hot tub, toilets and showers on our last day after checking out. Mario on reception kept our cases for us until the reception closed at 4pm. It is a 15 min walk to the centre of Broadbeach, and a 5 min stroll to the beach.

We think this is a good value for money accommodation. It was clean and the bed was comfy. A wardrobe would have been good.

Amazing place with an outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna/steam room, basic gym equipment (1 cross fit, 1 tower, 1 treadmill). Was situated just a 3 minute walk to a beach which you can follow all the way into surfers (20 min walk - well worth it). Loved that these apartments are self catering, however kitchen ware was a bit grubby I believe this was from guest prior. It would’ve been nice for these bits to have been checked by cleaning staff prior to handing us the room. Surfers town Center was amazing, great little market along the beach there some evenings and night life is good too. You can rent lime bikes out along the beach and by the apartments via the app and only takes around 7 mins or less to ride into surfers. Has a washer and dryer so you can do your own laundry too.

Kitchen utensils cleanliness. Would’ve liked these bits (cups, plates, cutlery, pots and pans etc) to have been checked upon our arrival as it was clear they were left from the previous guests. Little bits of food etc left on pans.

Apartment clean. Lifts/lobby clean. Good shower pressure. Washing machine and dryer easy to use.

No blankets on the bed. Sheet only. One tiny thin blanket inside wardrobe. Mat and socks left in dryer by previous people. No dishwasher No privacy between bedroom/bathroom as large see through screen that has no coverings. Bathroom floor gets very wet due to no shower screen (was a mop but doesn't work very well). Had wash and dry the bathmat/towels daily as needed to use to dry floor after showers.
