I loved sitting on the balcony listening to the live music in beer garden area. Once sliding door is closed the noise is very well blocked out. Great atmosphere and perfect location with plenty of room for families on the grassed area at beach front. This place is location plus

Nothing to not like. Great rooms, food available, great breaky, 24 hr reception. Very welcoming. Carparking area could be a little bigger, that's a minor thing though. We will definately return again

The location and value for money! Breakfast downstairs was delicious and for the most part, staff was extremely kind.

Our room didn’t have an aircon remote and the room got extremely cold at night! Our second day we went for breakfast and our food came out cold, we sent it back and it took them over half an hr to bring our breakfast, by which point everyone else had finished eating and had to wait around for us. The food was delicious but was disappointed with the service at this point. Staff seemed overwhelmed and frustrated during this breakfast period too.

Great sized family room suitable for us 4 with a balcony to enjoy a cool beverage at the end of the day. Complimentary washing machine and dryer was a HUGE hit as our stay was to attend a child's sporting event. Lots of sweaty clothes! Also when I called the hotel to enquire about the contents of the Family Room, I was told limited kitchen facilities, BUT it was a great sized kitchen with plates/bowls, cutlery. Wish I'd known for I didn't have to bring our own along.

Unfortunately the pool was not ready, it is currently under construction. This was a little disappointing for my younger child who was looking forward to the lovely pool shown on the pictures!

Location was beautiful. Food was outstanding. We had many cocktails, all were well made, tasted Devine. The most impressive part was the staff. Attentive, friendly, helpful, smiling, everything you could want. Excellent service from start to finish. Lots of outside areas to sit, eat and relax. Inside well presented, lovely and clean, air conditioned. Would go back in a heart beat.

Our room was a little outdated. Could do with a refresh, a few more pillows would of been nice. However, it was clean and the block out curtain were appreciated.

Everything was great. there were 3 couples travelling together and as we were all staying 8 nights we all booked family suites for a little extra space. The rooms were great, clean, beds comfy and the staff were amazing. Great to have a laundry that we could use free of charge. We dined at the restaurant a couple of nights and it was great, awesome food and again the staff were amazing. The hotel is right on the beach which was perfect for walks.

Only problem was that the pool area was not finished, as with all works going on at the moment. It will be amazing when it is finished.

The food was fantastic at the restaurant and the location was beautiful we enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again in the future the staff were lovely. Our little one left her blanket behind on check out but the staff found it and kept it safe for us lucky we hadn't left town yet and realised it was missing. 😀

The staff is AMAZING - friendliest hotel staff we have encountered in a very long time and EXCELLENT service for room request (extra pillow, cleaning request, room service, even a life saving drop-off at the airport after the taxi service fell through!). We will absolutely stay there again should we visit Mackay on another occasion.

While very close to the facility we came to Mackay to attend, it is a bit far from the rest of the local facilities such as restaurants and activities. The taxi service in town isn't the best so a rental car is probably the best bet for accessing the rest of what Mackay has to offer. Menulog and UberEats are available so it wasn't a major issue for us and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant is quite good so we didn't starve - LOL

Fab hotel. Booked this last minute and was not disappointed. All staff were fantastic & couldn't of done any more for me. Meal was lovely and was handy having the laundry facility there. Mackay wasn't on my intinary to stop but the staff made this an enjoyable stay, and took away from the stress of not being able to reach my original destination of Airlie Beach due to road closures and weather conditions.

Nothing the stay was perfect. Keep up the good work. :)

Staff were friendly, helpful and understanding. Room service was fast and efficient, the meals were of exceptional quality and value for money. Room was clean and tidy upon my slight early arrival, everything was well set out and easy to locate.

Nothing I can think of.

The lovely lady in reception sorted a room for myself and two children at 11pm after our other hotel messed us around which left us stranded. She helped me get my kids into our room without fuss and made us feel safe and relieved. Room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Can not fault anything.
