Good room nice and big pool is awesome to, for the price this room is awesome.

Air-conditioner is on one side of the room was hot in the far room they should put a standing fan in room to push the air down in saying that we where here in summer and it was 42 deg, also the kids bedside table had cigarettes in it like someone was using it to roll smokes we just cleaned it out easy miss for cleaner's.

The motel is being renovated & the rooms painted,but that didn’t affect us at all, it just meant that our room was yet to be repainted. The facade of the building has been painted & looks very Tuscan style which we love. The restaurant was excellent & the food was also. It was nice and quiet & the new AH Beard mattress was extremely comfortable. Would love to return & see the finished job. The owner was a delight & very helpful .👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

There was nothing we didn’t like .

Excellent, we have stayed twice now and recommend it to others to do the same. It's so welcoming, exceptionally clean and the staff are so helpful, nothing appears too much, genuinely caring people. It's also very quite even though on a main road. The pool is great as is the restaurant, enjoyed it all. The IGA and other take away shops are a close walk. Each of our stays has more than met our expectations. A big thank you to all, we shall return.

It was easy to find coming into Mackay and the location was good for the purpose of our trip. The room was nice and cool when we arrived, the bed was comfortable and the full length mirror was great. The room was spacious.

There was no wifi for our room when we tried to access it. The parking was first in best dressed so we had to park away from our room and carry all our gear. The bar fridge had water all on the tray under the freezer.

The layout of the room was great, giving the kids & parents a little privacy. Good location, walking distance to supermarket, cafe, restaurants. Basic facilities however did the job for a long weekend. Beds we’re comfortable, shower had great pressure & plenty of warm water for a family of four.

There wasn’t enough blankets nor were there any on the beds, …? Made for a cold & uncomfortable first night for all. Extremely disappointed that room service was advertised but only available Mon- Thursday. We were there Fri- Mon for an international sporting event which was HUGE & couldn’t understand a business that was fully booked wouldn’t extend this service. A HUGE missed opportunity from a lot of customers. After a massive day arriving back to your room with kids at 6:30-7pm the last thing you want to do is then find a place to go eat where most were all fully booked. 🙁

Easy access, centrally located, well kept, great rates. The staff was exceptionally professional, courteous, and helpful. The owner, Brea, tries to assure that every guest feels welcome and leaves a happy customer. A special feature is the family rooms which provide more space for a family without splitting them up. Highly recommend staying at The Mackay Resort Motel.

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Spacious Rooms and Office Nook for Business travelers. Room service was very fast, and the food was extraordinary. Hi Speed Wifi was superb. I will definitely be back again and would / will recommend this Motel especially for Business travelers.

The size of the room. Dinner Room service. Really. The Laksa was just about the best thing eaten in 2 weeks travelling. Excellent. 2 terrific state of the art t.v's with excellent wifi. The beds and linen. Sooo comfortable and big fluffy towels.

Air conditioner is totally inadequate for 2 areas divided by a 3/4 wall. Freeze in the back area and roast in the front.

Absoultey everything about this place is amaizng and worth the money. The staff are so kind and helpful. The rooms are roomy, and the beds are next level comfortable. Feels like you are staying right at home. This is our second time and can't wait to come back again next time. Will stay here every time we are in the area.

Great pool, big family room with balcony, clean, good kitchenette facilities and offers restaurant and room service. Next door to 24/7 IGA Supermarket, petrol stations and group of shops. 10 min walk to Coles Paradise St. Over the road from Shamrock Hotel. Would stay there again.

Bed not very comfy. One of the TV's were broken, but had another TV to watch anyway. Bathroom decor and kitchenette need to be updated, but not a big deal.
