That the location was right on the road we needed to travel, Nebo road

I stayed in Mackay less than a week ago in paradise Lodge or motel I forgot the name of the place but it was a caravan park I was an hour behind check in time they didn't mind left they keys in the room and the door unlocked...but here,I was 20 mins late and got charged an extra $10 for late fees? Isn't that for leaving late fees? Will never stay here again

A very spacious room with ample storage. All amenities. Mini fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Late check-in managed very well without any communication. Great location. Old property, but maintained very well. The AC worked very well. Clear labels and instructions where required.

The water pressure was a little low. Even though the late check-in was managed very well without any communication, an sms would have reduced the anxiety. While we were checking in to the property, we had an encounter with a distressed and unstable woman right outside our room. She apparently lived in the neighbourhood and the police arrived shortly to take her to safety.

pool was closed for repairs (just bad luck on timing). aircraft noise was quite loud, very close to take off and landing path.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, room was clean, lovely to have a sliding glass door with security screen at the back of the room on to a grassy area.

The bathroom had little room to move. Was ok though. Bed was uncomfortable. Needs to be replaced. Rolled into the middle all the time.

Relatively quiet room yet on a major arterial city road. Also fast food outlets located very nearby and easily accessible on foot.

TV unit worked fine but in todays world a rather small screen for viewing sports. Not a deal breaker.

Place was a bit small but was shown in photos, no surprises. Comfy beds, nice staff

Was generally clean but there was some visible dust on a few surfaces. Shower water pressure is a bit low but didn't bother me much

Window (slide door to back yard) with flyscreen. I could have natural sun light and breeze. It was nice.

A bit old shower room with no fan, it made noise through to next room. Still no issue for our overnight stay.

Tv keeps turning off and volume keeps muting , should have a window for fresh air ,could plainly see drug deals happening but I suppose that's not the motels fault just the idiots that book in there

Friendly staff , very helpful. Nice and clean, only stayed one night for fatigue management, $90 can’t go wrong

It is what it is not the flashiest place , but Good for short stay!.

It was just an overnight stay, but after 12hrs on the road we were looking for some place to rest our heads, get a good nights sleep, ready to hit the road again. It's by no means a luxury hotel, but it is value for money, clean, functional and very comfortable. I would stay here again.
