The motel doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is beautiful, modern, fresh and simple. The room was cleaned exceptionally well and had everything we needed for a night to just "get away". I would most certainly stay here again, and definitely recommend this accommodation.

I didn't like that the shower had a shower curtain, but that it just a personal preference, it isn't something I would rate down for. The double bed was also a little "springy" feeling, however, I just laid on top of the comforter and only slept under the sheet on top, and it was much better. Again, it's a personal preference, not something I would rate down for.

I liked the size and the amenities. I loved the spa bath and my bed was comfy

My aircon unit was in the kitchen and made a lot of noise which was annoying. I also thought I’d get more of a sea view so it would have been good to know it was only a glimpse. I also found the desk staff not very friendly. It sort of felt like I was painful if I asked for something. Having lived in Asia for 8 years where the customer always feels like it’s ok to ask for anything I found this a bit shocking. Like not looking up when I came into the foyer to greet me. I just think those are simple gestures that go a very long way in hospitality.

Very close to the ocean and many amenaties. The onsite gentleman who assisted with demonstrating the digital lock system.

The lack of basic private kitchen facilities, the 7 am opening of the shared kitchen facility, the distance from unit to shared kitchen facility and the fiddly digital coding entry locks. (The onsite gentleman was very accommodating to demonstrate how the locks worked).

Super easy and the new contactless system worked an absolute treat for our needs. We just needed a bed for a quick stop so having the key ready to go on my phone for a 1am arrival made it so easy. The bed was good and it was clean which was all that mattered after a long travel day.

If you’re a tall person like me, the shower is an issue and be prepared for a long walk around the block with your bags if you arrive late because the gate to brisbane road shuts at night.

This was a spare of the moment booking. And we couldn’t have been more impressed. This gives a new level to looks can be deceiving. We were extremely impressed with the security, the cleanliness and the staff. Amazing location, great facilities, great price. Worth the stop over.

Very clean well kept, bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a really fantastic location and the owners and any other staff are all very friendly, personable and hospitable. It is great value for money too. I can not fault the accomodation. This is the perfect location if you are having a holiday where you’re going to be out and doing things.

The room (10) has been recently refurbished, so everything was new and clean. We wanted a clean room for one night over a weekend in school holidays - so it suited us perfectly

On arrival the premises looks rundown and frankly - dodgy - but looks can be deceiving. Our room was a pleasant surprise.

Modern neat & clean rooms, plenty of towels and amenities which is always nice. Good airconditioning, off street parking and was quiet even though hostel next door. I'd definitely come back again!

More comfortable pillows and bed mattress (or foam topper) if I'm being picky.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Central Motel. It is great value for money and within walking distance of The Wharf, the surf club, coffee shops and the bowlo. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for budget accommodation.

There was nothing we didn't like

Room itself was CLEAN, MODERN & CONVENIENT! Location was awesome and I didn't need my car once checked in as walking distance to everything I needed.

A roof over the parking would be my only negative feedback, other than that the room was AMAZING! - Walls must be thin though, neighbours were noisy... but I was tired so i slept through it.
