location, friendly helpful reception staff , the room was well set up ,spacious ,clean , the little extras like available beach chairs to take to the beach , bbq area avail,books , pool was lovely and warm, rooms have natural ventilation re plantation shutters . great nights sleep . hosts were very helpful

couldn’t fault it , oh I guess I could kindly suggest to not use leave blower in courtyard before 9 am , 8.18 am Sunday morning was a little early for us but that’s just a suggestion thank u x

Check in information was left in an envelope at the reception counter. Parking was easy. Location was great. One bedroom apartment was cosy but sufficient (although I would not recommend planning on doing much actual cooking). Balcony (1st floor) was smallish but OK to sit out on, and with a nice perspective of trees and palms between the property and the next door property. The pool was heated and a very nice ambience.

The management is so keen to have everything ship shape that they go overboard. It is too much to clean debris from room doorsteps with a battery blower at 8.45 am. When I asked whether they needed to do that at that time they answered "yes". Clearly their own need to do something trumped their guests' entitlement to morning peace and quiet.

LocAtion perfect, near town and all the action but at the quieter end, really close to beautiful Four Mile beach. The property had lots of character and charm and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Ken and Colin super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Their recommendations for dining and activities were well made. Thanks gents, love your work!

Everything was fabulous - Ken and Colin were fabulous hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay as well as helping plan and advise on activities. Nothing was ever too much. The accomodation itself was beautiful. The bed was super comfortable and the apartment was cute. It had everything you would need and it was extremely clean, and it was the perfect location! We already can’t wait to return! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Really lovely place to stay, felt like we were in the middle of a rainforest with all the lovely trees and shrubs! Very nice room, well equipped kitchen & nice balcony, all spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lovely common area for all to use with the possibility of using common bbq, and such a nice touch to provide guests with chairs for the beach. Great location. Colin and Ken are so friendly and helpful, we did three fabulous tours on their recommendation. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

A very convenient location with a balcony and a view of the water. A washing machine and ironing facilities in the unit were appreciated. There is good bathroom with walk-in shower and a comfortable bed. There is also a lift to the upper levels.

The pool did not look inviting at all. I would have loved a coffee pod machine in the kitchen. Quite a few apartments we have stayed in now have a coffee machine.

it was located close to everything. it had everything we needed and was very clean. The managers were very friendly and helpful, love how there were folding chairs to borrow and take to the beach!

the apartment was very dark, we needed the lights on in the daytime. It was very noisy early in the morning with leaf blowing at 7.30am most mornings amongst other noise.

Excellent location. Extremely professional, helpful and friendly owners. Unit and property immaculately presented. Our top (3rd floor) unit had everything we needed for a few days of rest and relaxation. Foxtel sport and a couple of movie channels provided. Wifi, Pool, BBQ, beach chairs, water all available. A very peaceful oasis environment created for guests. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location Location Location AND it was a well designed and maintained property. The apartment was full of thoughtful details which made stay very comfortable. The host, Ken, was very warm and helpful. There is filtered water available and a relaxing seating area outside near reception. Lovely pool area. A very short one blick walk to Four Mile Beach and just a few feet from a restaurant. Highly recommend for an adult stay in Port Douglas.

The answer to this question is what we didn't like and that was nothing. The location was central to beach, restaurants and cafes. Ken and Colin were friendly and could not be more helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything needed to relax and enjoy. The pool area was very relaxing and tropical. The ice-machine in the foyer was a very welcome surprise as were the beach chairs that could be borrowed for use at the beach, free of charge. We would not hesitate to recommend Martinique On Macrossan.
