We really loved the location. It is nice and quiet and relaxing yet only a few minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and cafes. We also absolutely loved the outdoor pools. Our unit was nice and clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

There were a few little maintenance issues that needed attending to, e.g. noisy aircon in the bedroom and range hood needed fixing. There was also a lack of kitchen utensils provided, e.g. no tongs for cooking with, the non stick frypan was badly worn and needed replacing and there were no paper towels which made it difficult to cook and clean up.

The room and spa facilities did not require the desire to venture to the pool. The entire facilities were spotlessly clean, the reception staff were very friendly and assisted in attending dive/snorkel of the Great Barrier Reef. There suggestion was greater than our expectation, the crew upon the Wavelength were extremely courteous, knowledgeable and passionate in preservation and enhancement of the reef!!

There was nothing we disliked of the Mantra Aqueous on Port. The service and proximity to Port will see us back again at some time. Beautiful experience!!

The spa on the balcony is the BEST THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED TO ME! The second best thing was our own access to the pool via our own pool deck. Our apartment was clean and well appointed. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It is a stone’s throw from the Main Street of Port Douglas.

The kitchen and bathroom were quite dated but very clean. Appliances all in good working order. The absence of any food service made it necessary to frequent the shops regularly.

Central location,close to the main street. Beach and marina at walking distance. Shopping street around the corner. Spa on your own balcony is a luxery feeling. Views on the pool from your balcony. Roomy set-up of the unit. Wheelchair accessable rooms as there is an elevator.

To be honest, there was nothing we didn't like this visit. We haven't used all the facilities. Front door access have a couple of steps that are slippery when wet. Dangerous when walking on crutches, but there is a back door entrance that is safe. Front door access is not wheelchair accesseble.

Location, cleanliness, professional and friendly staff. The pool looked great, but wasn’t quite warm enough for us to use it

The balcony spa felt a little exposed to neighbouring rooms, and the time restrictions limited it’s use for us. The room was a little smaller than expected, but was still adequate for a short stay

The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to everything you need in Port Douglas including 4 mile beach and loads of restaurants.

Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. It wasn’t a massive issue as we were only there for 3 night but being a beach location, there was quite a lot of sand on the floor the was accumulated during our stay which was a bit annoying.

I like how it’s in the main st walking distance to everything . No need to catch bus or taxi Unless we’re going out on a tour . Enjoyed having spas on the balcony , room was nice & clean

The room was nice and cool - very refreshing coming in from the heat. The hot tub and walk out access to the pool was really luxurious and provided a great vibe. Bathroom was really large. The pool was nice. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. The fragrances in the hotel were great and the room smelled refreshing.

The trend of hotels, especially ones that are not cheap, not to provide room services. I don't mind reusing towels for a few days but don't like having to empty my own trash as instructed. Vent in the bathroom fell from ceiling revealing it had been taped in place (3M 2-sided tape) versus properly secured. There was an astounding amount of caked-on dust nearly clogging the vent. Wasn't a huge deal, just don't look up in the shower.

We had an apartment with direct access to the pool which was great with the really hot weather. Was nice getting up and having a quick dip to start the day and also cool off at the end. The apartment was well set up for the two of us and had everything we needed and very clean. We had one with a kitchen and laundry facilities which were great as we were there for 6 nights. Liked how the bedroom could be close off with sliding doors if you wanted to go to bed earlier than partner. Great little closed in outdoor patio with outdoor spa. Easy check-in at reception and the reception area always smelt like you had just walked into a day spa. Given a code for after hours entry once reception was closed. We had a hire car for just a few days and when asked was given a car park key which is under accommodation and secure. If you required additional items like more soap, dishwashing liquid, washing powder, etc. you just asked at reception for these. You could also replenish bathroom towels, bath mats, pool towels by swapping these for fresh ones at reception. Our room wasn't serviced and we knew this before coming, but was not an issue for us with being able to get replacement items at reception and you could drop rubbish in basement area. Location was excellent being just around the corner from the main Street and shops. A relatively quick walk of 10 minutes down to marina. I liked the location as it was close enough to the action without being right in it. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Nice, clean and resaonably spacious. The balcony spa and pool looked nice although did not end up using.

Getting on to someone after hours to give me the key code to get into the property was a bit challenging as there were various numbers and on the door which just rang out. Called the general mantra number which got me through.
