The apartment is a two minute walk to 4 mile beach. It is located on the Main Street of Port Douglas but is very quiet. The apartment is large with a separate bedroom. The living room has a couch plus a dining table with chairs. The kitchen had everything I needed. There was a bbq area downstairs that I used a couple of times to grill steaks from Malones Butcher Shop. There is a free laundry room with three washers and dryers. The pool was refreshing on the muggy days. I booked two tours through the apartment and I was happy with both. My airport shuttle pick up was scheduled for noon. Normally, check out time is 10 am but they let me stay in the apartment until the shuttle arrived at noon. Sonia and Robin were great hosts.

close the beach, shops, dinning etc. Which is why we stayed there. Pool was small but good enough and private. Spa was enjoyable. Nice surroundings. Balcony door excellent for street noise reduction.

The internet connection was not very good at times. I believe the host are in the process of upgrading. Would have liked the balcony to have had similar shutters on the side connection as they do on the front. Toilet drips and is constantly refilling itself. No elevators, so older people might prefer ground or 2nd floor. A little pricey.

Quiet adult only facility, helpful staff, pleasant 24 hour pool, stylish and well furnished room, and excellently located near the beach and the town center, with its many choices of nearby restaurants, bars and cafes. Impressed that staff researched people's mobility before assigning rooms, as there is no lift. A thoughtful approach, so everyone is happy. Had a great time here !

Very well run establishment. Super clean and well functioning. Price was a little on the upper side, so maybe a few more hints of luxury in the room would take the experience up a level. But honestly, NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT !

Great location! Steps away from the Main Street and the wharf. The place was super clean and we had a good amount of space in the unit (the living area and balcony plus a separate area for bedroom). We thought it was a great value for the money as well. The TV had plenty of channels and was a smart TV for streaming.

A/C took a bit to cool the bedroom down but it was a hot summer month so that’s to be expected. WiFi seemed to slow a bit at peak times (afternoon and night when everyone is back from tours/dinner). But even then it worked fine.

A return visit for us. These apartments are spotless and have everything you need for a few days or even few weeks in Port Douglas. Comfortable bedding, good kitchen with a wide range of implements and a comfortable living area. The shower is hot and the aircon is cool - what more do you need? We swam in the pool every day as the beach was suffering from some post cyclone waves and debris but the beach is less than a block away so you can still walk along any time you want. Macrossan St is where all of the shops, restaurants and bars are, with the weekly market in the park at the other end. You park underneath and can walk everywhere for the visit. Perfect location. We loved our stay in all aspects at this location. We were walking distance to all amenities, apartment was nicely equipped. We had grill access, onsite management was handy for questions, advice, and requirements most of the time. The property was beautifully maintained, and Laundry facilities were very much appreciated. We took advantage of the fabulous pool area often. The Beach access was steps away!

Great location close to the beach and to restaurants, cafes and shops. 10 Min walk to the Marina. Well equipped kitchen, fans and air con. Staff very helpful with booking day trips and always friendly. Comfortable bed.

No fly screens so it's hard to leave doors or windows open at dusk - instead we needed to turn the air conditioner on. An exhaust fan in the bathroom would be a great addition. Lounge not very comfortable unfortunately- new lounge cushions might solve the problem.

Nice, clean space, good sized bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, lounge room, and patio (we were on top level). Staff friendly, very close to the beach and restaurants, easy to get around on foot, often with umbrellas in our case as it was bucketing down at times. Pool and spa were also awesome. Really loved the place!

Nothing to complain about. But, it there were Power points easily accessible near the bed that would make it even better!

The apartment was very cute and comfortable, fitted with everything we could possibly need for our stay including a drying rack, ironing board and iron, cooking utensils, and even reusable shopping bags. The location was perfect as it was on the quieter end of the Main Street but still a close walk to restaurants and shops. The bed was extremely comfortable and Robin and Sonya were fantastic hosts, very friendly and accomodating. My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Port Douglas apartments and would definitely recommend! We can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic time staying for eight nights in Port Douglas Apartments. We had excellent communications from the managers about our check in time and prior arrangements. We met with the relief managers Barbara and Ken who went out of their way to ensure we had the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them even when I forgot my wash in the washing machine and they had to come to unlock the wash room in the evening. The apartment was newly refurbished and had a very lovely modern decor and excellent shower in the bathroom. The apartment was spotlessly clean and immaculately kept. We had the apartment serviced and the linen changed midweek which is rare these days. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and the sitting area as well as the lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi. Barbara and Ken gave us excellent tips for local restaurants and trips and shared their passion for Port Douglas and North Queensland. We are so happy with our stay at our home away from home. The location is so good, close to all shops and restaurants and 2 minutes to the beach. We will be back! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.
