Room was very comfortable, clean and staff were pleasant and helpful.

As I was travelling with a 2 year old the only issue was the restaurant and a play area is located beside the pool area which has no pool fencing to keep the kids away from the pool. You can't take your eyes off them for a minute even while eating. There is pool fencing on the other sides but not from restaurant to pool. You need to go through pool fencing to get to the restaurant but this issue could become a real safety issue

The room was lovely and big and the pool was very refreshing after a hot day.

One evening I slipped and fell on the path as it was very slippery and hurt my foot, I told them at reception asked if they had any pain killers. The girl quite rudely said you can have these for $6. I was in quite a bit of pain and she didn't even offer me a chair to sit on or even an ice pack. Later that evening the night manger rang to ask me if I went to the hospital and I said no I didn't and she was glad I didn't go for some reason. Not very good customer skills at all.

Loved salt Pool, shallow ends for kids deep in middle and just right temp. Lots of space to lounge around pool. Bistro is pool side but can get wait service anywhere you prefer to relax or room service, even swim up bar. Enjoyed relaxing reading book in wharf area, fans over head and cool breeze off large ponds that have big barramundi. Tropical gardens in & surrounds resort. Short walk to Long Beach could walk 45 mins left then right, can find shade from shrub & lots of coconut trees in afternoons. Handy toilet block at entry to beach. Mini bus will take you to town or most attractions pick up if don’t wish to hire car. And do own laundry with good machines, 1 hour to do both wash and the dry of a clothes. Fresh towels including pool towels and basic house tidy every day. Nothing is too much if ask reception for anything would like more of.

Close to Port Douglas. We arrived on AFL grand final day. Bar set up screen/TV for everyone to enjoy. Able to get takeaway coffees downstairs in morning at cafe. Games area is a great idea & quiet sitting areas located around resort. We used these zones regularly. Free fish feeding for kids. Torches being lit in garden at night are a nice touch. Reception staff very helpful. Housekeeping staff are like invisible good fairies-amazing at their job!

Wyndham sales staff wanting us to go to their information sessions when we are on holiday mode. You do feel pushed to go. Originally sounded pleasant as they want to give you knowledge and a voucher as a gift but once you indicate you’d like to read into the information after attending, the main presenter unfortunately made 1 of our family members feel belittled for asking a question. We had been very interested until he spoke to our table so it is unfortunate this conversation occurred. It upset our family member for the rest of the day and if had known this would happen would have chosen somewhere else to stay so didn’t feel like we were being made to feel guilty for wanting to study a brochure in depth.

The property is built around the rainforest and it’s an experience alone walking through it and seeing the fish and creatures. The pool is clean, maintained, warm and inviting with a swim up bar! There are info signs around about the creatures and animals within the area. There’s a walkway and directions east to follow to the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful. Towels were refreshed and room tidied daily for us. Being on our honeymoon, we were delighted to be treated with a bottle of bubbly! Thank you!

The only place to eat in our room was on the only table, directly in front of the tv. The pool gate needs a soft close so it’s not loud when closing early in the morning or late at night.

This hotel was such great value for money.. a last minute holiday and we didn’t know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were extremely spacious and super clean. Pool area is great - always able to get a deck chair and staff are super friendly. Parking is easy and accessible if you have a rental car too. Only a short drive into the main centre of Port Douglas, not really easy walking distance but there is the shuttle bus that runs through. Beach access was wonderful, nice and close to Four Mile beach. A special shout out to the maintenance team member who went above and beyond to make sure our aircon ran cooler. Upon arrival our aircon wasn’t working correctly but he fixed the problem within 5 minutes, even replacing the remote so we could lower the temp. We had a lovely room that had easy access to the pool - there were some rooms that backed on to the car park which is something I would avoid due to view of car park. I would recommend this hotel.

What a fantastic resort. Check in and check out was easy. They even allowed us to check in early with no additional cost. Room was large enough for our stay, general housekeeping every day as well as on weekends. When we did dine in the restaurant, food was lovely, quality was great. Cocktails by the pool were even better. Pool was large where you didn't feel like you were on top of another guest. Bike hire and also fishing rods for hire. Games room for everyone not just the kids. Local shuttle buses run regularly from the resort, so no need to worry about driving Overall a great family resort or even just as a couple's holidays as we did. But most of all a big shout-out to Clare who works on the front desk, Her help with bookings and local knowledge of tourist attractions was fantastic. No question was too hard for her

Only thing I could think of that I didn't like was 2 single beds being joined together to make a king bed.

The facilities were all so lovely and the room was super comfy. Great room service too! Plenty of parking on site for travelling with a hire car. We also visited the spa and our massage was amazing.

The staff were really adamant on making us join Club Wyndham (their rewards club), they were constantly ringing us and asking whether we wanted to join. There is also a $5 charge if you order drinks poolside from the QR codes on the umbrellas.

The room was lovely and very clean, we didn't get much of a view but it didn't matter. Was very quiet in the evening, and we got a park close to the room. Staff were SO friendly. Nice to have pool toys in the pool. Could also get board games from reception.

The pool was pretty crowded, can't imagine it in peak season. Daily cocktail specials were a bit strange. Obviously had to sit through the talk to try and get us to attend the time share seminar but weren't pushy when we said we didn't want to.

The place was stunning and relaxing. The gardens are magnificent. We spent a few afternoons lazing by the pool. The restaurant on-site served delicious meals and reasonably priced cocktails. You can easily go down to the beach for a stroll. If you wish to go out to dinner in Port Douglas, there is a shuttle bus available. Every day, the room was serviced and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Staff are wonderful and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at this resort.
